Dreadful. Waste of money. Do the extra two hour drive north to spend your money wisely not waste it. Noise from adjacent Bruce Highway all through the night. Airlie Beach is value for money especially Tazman Park. We spent the same money in both locations and def wasted the money in Mycow.

It took me by surprise the condition of the camp grounds the place is littered with porterloos that look like they haven't been cleaned since they got there the cluster of showers and loo are not central at all so long dark walk in the middle of the night and they were not real clean either to few facilities for the amount of guests to be honest the laundry was ok but you can't add extra time to your dryer unless you pay for a full cycle again to just a money grab . The camb grounds themselves although straight off the highway was noisy but you do expect that but it was just a mish mash of weird to be honest

Possibly the most noisy caravan park in Australia with the Bruce Highway only meters away. Grassed and gravel sites. Awful aroma drifting through the camp site. Nice fenced dog exercise area. $40 for water & power to reverse into. Drive through with power & water more expensive. ⭐️⭐️

Very pleasant and accommodating when we booked our stay and even extended our riverside caravan spot for 2 weeks. The traffic didn't bother us nor the abattoir smells once we worked out what it was. What did bother us were the young French workers or backpackers who took up the area on the river in front of our caravan, not theirs, and turned their music on and up so we had absolutely no choice in what we had to listen to. I realise it was not always late at night, but it was almost constant. The traffic was far easier to ignore. Added to that was the constant intermittent overly LOUD and obnoxious shrieks and raucous laughter and obvious partying going late into some evenings. The bottles and garbage left behind was disgusting and thoughtless. Garbage was put into recycling where signs clearly said bottles and cans only. The beautiful scenery and tropical breezes and modern amenities would have been lovely to enjoy if we did not feel surrounded by immature and inconsiderate "guests". It felt like we were next to a wild sorority house. Would we recommend this place? 🤔 only if you are deaf or under 25. If Mycow wants more repeat customers, it would be nice if they could command a better attitude from all guests to consider those around them and to entertain mutual respect so that all guests could have an enjoyable time.

We stayed in a powered drive thru site at Mycow Mackay. While the site was okay-easyish to get in and out of, the smell from the abattoir across the road was so awful and also if you are a light sleeper - it is not far off the main road of Bruce Highway. Overall we did not enjoy staying there because of the smell of the abattoir cooking bones and offal etc.

Stayed in numerous parks whilst travelling the last 28 months but never experienced such a dirty park. Shower drains and floor covered in hair, toilets had excrement on the floor. No sign of management to discuss and not what you expect for $48 powered site which was adjacent to Bruce Highway noise!

Friendly accommodating team of people. Site undergoing lots of upgrades. Beautiful area to sit and enjoy the river. Lots of workers who obviously live at the park, but for a Friday night it was very quiet and they were very respectful and polite. Mossies were about but and aren't they always, plugged in the zapper and and they left us alone. Noisy from the highway and train line, but we had a great nights sleep

We came as a couple and were surprised that after 1 month of renting, the owner kicked us out without any reason.
We are a very respectful and pleasant couple.
As soon as we went to the campsite to see our friends, we were chased away by the police.
We've had nothing but great experiences since we arrived in Australia, and we've never had any problems.
We cry racism!
What's more, the locals aren't clean - we had to wash everyone's dishes several times!
Go somewhere else!
