Today I had to put my cat down after 10 years with him. Sam and Wes were so caring and understanding going the extra mile to make things special for us all. I’ve never experienced a veterinary clinic that cares so much. Thank you guys for making things that little bit easier it goes a long way ❤️

We took our cat to the vet the other day because she was scratching her ear area and started bleeding. This had happened before, and the previous vet gave her an injection that eased her scratching issue. However, since we’ve moved and the previous vet is too far away, we tried a different vet. Unfortunately, our cat hates being in the car, she even threw up after just a 10-minute drive.
Despite informing the new vet of the previous treatment, they advised trying tablets first. It took eight days to finish one cycle, but there was no improvement. When I contacted the vet again, they wanted to charge a $75 revisit consultation fee, even though their treatment didn’t work at all.
They’re quite pricey, and we ended up paying almost double what we used to pay without fixing the issue. It is a total waste of money and time. Now, we have to look for a new vet, which will be a stressful journey for our cat again.

The staff here were so lovely. We had to bring in our dog suddenly on Sunday evening close to their closing time. They were already looking after a sick animal so could have sent us away to a 24/7 vet but they didn’t, they even arranged the animal ambulance so our dog could get the care she needed for the longer drive. They honestly went above and beyond and we are so grateful 💜

I came on Sunday with concerns of my cats breathing and coughing. She was distressed. During the appt I was told that everything sounded fine internally. The vet sold me pain relief. Not sure why. She offered an xray to see if anything was stuck in her throat. This would be easy $900 ontop of the over $200 I was already spending. She told me I urgently needed to get a broken dying tooth removed.

Come Tuesday, we saw our usual vet. He said there is no reason why the tooth needs to come out and have her put under. He checked her over and gave her the okay 👍🏻

Thankfully I was not fooled to pay for an xray or let her do the surgery.
I feel ripped off and taken advantage off.

I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of veterinary care for their beloved furry friends. The team at Greater Springfield are hands down some of the most caring, compassionate, professional, thorough and knowledgeable vets I’ve ever come across. I honestly cannot fault any of them, along with all of the nurses and management. Whether we have had to visit for a small health issue, or a complicated and big health issue, the care is 5 star and you always have peace of mind knowing your pets are receiving the very best care.
