Dr Len has been one of (if not) the best doctor my family has ever seen. It’s a pleasure being a patient not only of Dr Len but of the medical practise as a whole for my whole family.
Cannot fault any of our visit.
Reception and the nurses are lovely too šŸ™‚
Thank you Brookwater Medical from the Jones family!

My honest opinion, my partner booked me in over the phone for my first ever antenatal appointment, When my partner and I came to the clinic, he went to reception where a very rude woman asked for name, and time of appointment, to which, she said that we have the wrong practice…. My partner even had an appointment confirmation with the details of where to go and what time and informed and showed the receptionist….we were Adamant that we were in the right place, so my details were repeated. To no prevail, we were told to go somewhere else by the receptionist. She went back to what she was doing, and my partner asked kindly for directions. Keep in mind This was the first ever doctors appointment we had been to in Australia, as we had moved from New Zealand two months prior, and still were trying to find our way around.

When we arrived at the general practice, two lovely receptionists greeted us and asked if they could be of any assistance. They then asked if we received an appointment confirmation, so we showed the receptionist and she let us know that we were in the wrong place and directed us back to where we had just come from. We let them know our situation, and they apologized for not being looked after in the first place, but told us to head back to the medical centre and try again.

When we arrived once again, to the medical centre, my partner went straight to reception and explained that our appointment was made for this practice, and to please check my details again.
Almost instantly, she smiled at my partner and said, that there must have been a spelling mistake when the appointment was taken, and then proceeded to tell my partner that the doctor would be with us shortly.

What infuriates me, is that we provided proof of confirmation, first and last name, phone number basically all details that should have identified me as a patient, but it wasn’t until we had travelled back and forth for her to properly check. The spelling mistake was 1 letter out of place. Fatih instead of Faith? There was no apology, or professionalism present with the receptionist.

To make things worse, when we had finished our appointment and came straight back to reception to pay for our appointment…. She told us to take a seat and that she would let us know when it’s ready… I watched her gossiping and laughing with another female colleague for 20 minutes, until my patience had run its course, and asked my partner to pay for the bill so we can leave. He walked up to reception, and asked to pay. Then we left. I left Upset, disappointed and feeling like we were treated less than. This appointment for me, was supposed to be so exciting scary, and just all those first time mum feels…. Especially after having multiple miscarriages in the past and making it this far.

A simple follow up, or a little consideration goes a long way. What this woman showed me and my partner was unacceptable.

On a positive, the relieve doctor I had was lovely, easy to talk to, very informative and open to every question that I had.

It has been over a month and I have attended multiple antenatal appointments for scans and blood tests, and from that initial spelling mistake from the medical centre it has been misspelled on my Record even a month later, after I had Registered the same day of my very first appointment. Where I have been called Fatih by practitioners and have had to correct them to this day. When this could have been corrected on the day that I had registered with reception.

Couldn’t be happier with the friendly and helpful team. I have been seeing Dr Rose Ruiz for many years lost contact when she moved to another clinic but couldn’t be happier now to be back with a Doctor that is helpful and wants to listen to my concerns and works with me to give me the best care and advice. She keeps on investigating until we get an answer. She is now also the doctor for my husband and we just can’t recommend her and the team enough.

Went straight to see the doctor on Friday after living abroad for 12 months and Dr Len didn’t prescribe me the correct prescription. Could not contact the office until Monday and just to be told my doctor has no time for me today and suggested I do a phone call with another doctor. This doctor advised they could not prescribe me the medication Dr Len said he would unless I come in person. Firstly I shouldn’t have to take time off work again to get a prescription I was meant to get from the start. Dr Len wrote on my file a very basic brief said I just have an infection which gives zero details on what he diagnosed me with. Which makes it hard for another doctor to figure out what was discussed and what he prescribed me with. The front desk staff passed me to a nurse name Pat and he was extremely rude towards me even though I’m the patient who didn’t get her prescription for the last 2 days. After 1 hour of call of calling back the staff said I have to come in again because the doctor doesn’t remember what he diagnosed me with and can’t not give me the prescription medication. So again I have taken time off from work to come in to see the doctor as I really need my medication. When I arrived in the clinic the nurse Pat didn’t even bothered to greet me just said take a seat. Didn’t ask for my name or anything. EXTREMELY RUDE. After seeing another doctor in clinic it turns out Dr Len has misdiagnosed me and made me purchase a very expensive cream for no reason.

I am extremely disappointed with this GP and would never come back again even though is very close to my house. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there either because the staff is not very considerate or polite.

Not even worth the 1 star. The administration is misleading and the dr that was present clearly doesn’t care for his patients. Didn’t want to help with a Mental Health Plan even though I had rung previously before booking the appointment to confirm you could on a new patient booking. Instead of caring for me as a patient, just thought about his own self and how he would look. It’s taken me almost 10 years to work up the courage to seek help and it’s drs like this that make everything just that much harder. Thank you for adding to the pain.

My husband went to the centre and was told to go home and rest and given antibotics that the doctor has said will not work on a viral infection however still prescribed it for him. He returned a week later to tell Dr Len that he wasn’t getting better, the doctor had explained his swab had come back that he had influenza A however wasn’t able to reach him as the centre had the wrong number so he gave him Tamiflu which the doctor had explained was probably too late anyways but to take it, my husband had pleaded with the doctor that he need something else and that something didn’t feel right however the doctor just said he can’t prescribe him with anything else and he needs to let his body fight it. Two days later my husband ends up admitted in hospital with pneumonia and told by the hospital doctors that everything that dr Len had prescribed would not have done anything for him. This is our story and we disappointed that things have turned out this way.

I have been seeing the clinic since just after it opened start of 2023. All staff have been very respectful and Dr Len has been a great doctor always giving the best possible care and treatment.

The receptionists, nurse, and Dr were all lovely. It was also nice to have an area in the waiting room for little ones.
