I recently had a procedure that required anesthesia, and the experience left me extremely disappointed. I was shocked to be charged more than four times what Medicare covers, which left me with a significant out-of-pocket. The cost of the anesthesia alone was higher than the cost of the actual surgery, which feels completely unreasonable and, frankly, like a ripoff. I did the same procedure a few months before and paid less than half; this time the pricing was just absurd. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone who expects fair and transparent pricing. Don’t even try to discuss this over the phone with them.

I highly recommend Dr. Patrick See. Dr. See provided a calming and professional environment prior to my surgery. He answered all my questions and gave a brilliant outline of what to expect, all in plain English. He is a true down-to-earth professional who treats his patients with respect.

Dr Leigh Winston was the anaesthetist for my knee replacement and she was fantastic. I couldn’t believe it when she called me the day before the procedure to find out how I was and to explain the process and reassure me that she would look after me. Before the op she was very caring and friendly and I felt I was in really good hands. The op went very well and I attribute that to a great surgeon and anaesthetist working in tandem together. Thank you Leigh for your professionalism and great bedside manner I could not recommend you more highly

I had Dr Peter Reid as my Anaesthetist for my elbow surgery with Dr Frederikson. Dr Reid was so lovely and answered any questions I had. He was very reassuring to me when I was anxious at the time. Such a lovely person who has such an important job to do.

I had surgery yesterday and Dr. Brian O'Connell was my Anaesthetist. He is very professional both in his manner and in his expertise. I was very anxious for my surgery and scared of anaesthesia. But Dr. Brian put me at ease with his companionate, and caring behaviour and all my stress has gone. After anaesthesia, I woke up without nausea and vomiting, and I am sure it is because of extreme ability, knowledge and expertise of Dr. Brian in his job. He is very excellent and positive doctor with good energy and I really appreciated him.

I had a large lipoma removed under general and had Dr Clinton Patrick’s as my Anaesthetist. He is very friendly and informative, putting you at ease before the surgery. Highly recommend Dr Patrick’s

Following the threatening messages received today from the incredibly rude and unprofessional man (who didn't leave his name) representing your office I have located your email reply sent back only last Monday 25th in clarifying my query that i asked about back in November. So the threats I received were in fact unnecessary and also quite ridiculous telling me that i will have to appear in Brisbane court house on Friday but first had to wait for a letter to arrive in the mail on Wednesday 🤦🏼‍♂️. A simple phone call or voice message (back in November) saying hi Luke your bill still hasn't been paid is their any reason for this If you could contact us to fix this please . There would have been no issue! A simple letter in the mail (you's had my address) or phone call & this would have been avoided.

( Note i paid the bill soon as i found it in a junk folder .Honest mistake)

It was never my intention to leave it & not pay it!!!. The actual anaesthetic lady was amazing kind & caring.

To bad about the rude wanna be Cowboy with no people skills trying to talk over the top of us using threats & being VERY unprofessional.

Update: after discussions between my surgeon, Axxon Health management and myself, earlier mistreatment of me by Axxon's finance/admin staff has been acknowledged and compensated for. I have therefore adjusted an earlier poor rating upward and removed earlier comments.
