I phoned this centre today and was greeted by a Leanne.
After I politely asked her if they were accepting new patients she said "no". I then said "Well what if" and was cut off with another "no". She was rude, arrogant and sanctimonious.
I was planning on explaining to her that I have a disabled daughter with a life threatening heart defect and having just moved to the area, I was in search of a GP for inbetween her hospital visits.
Luckily for me I was able to find out that medical clinics are not allowed to knock back new patients with life threatening conditions.
I have since reported both the clinic and the cantankerous woman in question to the appropriate authorities.
I would urge all other people with life threatening ailments to know your rights. They are not allowed to knock you back!

After my own surgical centre said they couldn't fit me in for 5 days, I called this centre to try and find a doctor that would help me. I've had a cold that feels its reached my lungs as an infection. Before I could even get a sentence out the lady said in a dull, rude tone that they weren't accepting new patients. Nice to know this mob of idiots will leave a dying man in the street.
