Every department I've ever been admitted to over the years last one being Aand E and Hospital in the Home, right on Christmas. All the staff have always been professionally, friendly and do the best they can under sometimes terrible situations. Sometimes they may be working double shifts and have trouble at home. ( that's right they are human too and have a personal life), or they may have just been abused by another patient before seeing you, but they still try crack a smile for the patient , or put their hand on yours to reassure you. And tell you we are doing what we can to help you.
Keep on doing what your doing Team, you are doing GREAT, with what you Have.

I would not wish a stay in this institution of chaos on anyone. What I have experienced & witnessed in the last 24hours has been quite distressing, disturbing & dissapointing to say the least. The lack of ethos experience, care, attentiveness & the pure laziness by the nursing staff, is reprehensible. The arrogance dismissiveness, neglect & bullying by the Drs, is unbelievable if I hadn't seen it first hand myself. You will leave here with more harm & damaged than when you came in. I will be reporting what I have experienced & witnessed during my stay & hopefully it will be investigated. I note that there is already a petition circulating regarding this hospital for a parliamentary inquiry, which I have also signed. If you can get help elsewhere then I urge you to do so.

Told the doc my foot was broken. Doc was rude and doubting me because I was walking on it and me saying it was very painful was totally invalidated. Got sent to x-rays finally: Foot was broken. Doc said he can't see me again that day. I have to make a new appointment earliest available was the next week! Went to Brisbane. Had operation and pain sorted within a few days.

My Recent admission to short stay clinic for day procedure was without doubt an extremely professional & caring experience. All the nurses & doctors were wonderful. Thankyou to beautiful nurse who stayed longer with me in recovery as BP was not quite right. Nothing to complain about .

Absolutely vile treatment. My elderly mother had to go in via ambulance and was diagnosed with a bad bladder infection and had to be on IV antibiotics. Was all fine during the day while I was there with her, but at night, staff were rough, bossy and abusive. Kept trying to shove a combo of Fentanyl and Tramadol on her despite the fact she said numerous times she did not want Fentanyl. Fentanyl and Tramadol can also be extremely dangerous if taken together and have the effect of sedation. When I went into the hospital to request to speak to a senior nurse about how my mum was being treated, I was abused by two nurses who laughed about how they'd get security to remove me, all while concocting a story to say I'd abused them and gone right up to one of their faces (these things never happened). My mother felt so unsafe she had to leave and is now off treatment and I am gravely worried as she is severely unwell. This hospital is hell. Who the hell concocts a false story to try and stop someone advocating for a patient, then laughs about it while that patient is severely ill? I have video of one of these clowns literally laughing.

The worst hospital I've ever been to. I came to this hospital with my partner and we waited for 5 hours to see the doctor. The front desk never told us how long it would take. other patients were just suffering from pain and waiting. At the end, this all cost us over $600. This is ridiculous. There are many bad reviews about this hospital and clearly no one cares about patients for years. There's no hope in this hospital
