Warning: Avoid Booking with IME for PESCI or Any Course

I strongly advise against booking any PESCI or courses with IME. My experience has been extremely disappointing.

The role-player in my exam was not adequately prepared to provide accurate responses during history taking. In a case of dizziness, I asked, "Do you have a funny feeling in your chest?" The role-player answered "No." When I followed up with "Any chest pain?" they again said "No." However, the actual diagnosis turned out to be cardiac arrhythmia. Such misleading responses can misguide candidates into ruling out critical cardiac causes and, in female patients, redirect focus toward OB/GYN symptoms instead, thinking of blood loss and anemia could be the cause of dizziness.

Despite raising this concern with IME’s management, they refused to allow me to appeal and instead barred me from the process. Their priority seems to be making money and protecting their own image rather than considering the time, effort, disappointment, and financial investment of candidates.

For a fair and professional assessment, I strongly recommend choosing another provider for your PESCI.

The panel also made sure that as a candidate I am always at my ease on answering the questions. I have a wonderful PESCI exam experience with IME. At first,I was nervous during the exam. But the examiners were friendly and don't stress the candidate. They were supportive and help the candidate to perform to the best of his knowledge. If someone is competence enough to sit for the PESCI,I strongly recommend IME.
