I was visiting from Melbourne and needed to see a doctor the day that we arrived. The clinic booked me in and I was attended to by Dr John Wilson. Dr Wilson was brilliant - he took the time to listen to me and explain in detail. He rang me as soon as the results were in and once again, explained the results.
I highly recommend the clinic.

I am a visitor to the Gold Coast and injured my hand just after arriving at the hotel. After some first aid by staff, we all agreed that it should be checked by a doctor. This was the closest medical centre, and I popped in and explained my situation. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and said that they could fit me in, but it was $90 upfront with about $42 back from Medicare. I had to fill out some paperwork but only had a short wait. I saw Dr John Wilson, who greeted me with a smile, listened to what had happened and did a quick, but thorough examination. He recommended an xray to be safe. He was very professional and friendly at the same time. He also was comfortable working with an Auslan interpreter, as I am Deaf and it's rare to find anyone who is so comfortable with the interpreter. This would be a great practice for residents in the area. They were especially nice and helpful to an accident prone tourist in need. Thank you for the great service.

Always late doesn't matter how early you get there. The app showing your position in queue is a rubbish! Expected someone going outside the clinic screaming your name. Didn't hear? Go back to the end of the queue... Good luck dealing with the receptionist. The doctor is nice tho.

Doctors are all amazing, but reception is the total opposite. I checked in 10 minutes before my 8:30 appointment, waited until 9:30, and still hadn't had a consultation with the doctor. I spoke again to the same receptionist lady, who then asked if I'd checked in when I told her my appointment was at 8:30. She realised something on the computer and said I was next, an hour after the fact. No apologies and all I wanted was sorry; let me fix that for you.

Terrible service, you get to your appointment early and they don’t inform you that Dr Jeffery likes to slot people around your personal appointment time to the point they are running 50 min behind by 8:00!!! Are you serious you’re not the only one who provides service, be careful your patients will run out of patience! No warning being 50 min late at 8:00am!

Dr Mark Jeffrey and the team at Surfers Health medical have been my GP for approximately 3 years now. Dr Jeffrey is the most caring, understanding, and kind hearted GP I’ve ever had. I could not recommend him any more highly. The service from the front office team is exemplary despite being an extremely busy practice, they are kind, patient and respectful.

If you are looking for a professional caring medical experience - this Centre and the staff are amazing!
You can usually get an appointment within a day or two which is way better than other practice waits times.
Dr Mark Jeffery’s commitment to patient care and well-being is truly commendable! If there is a delay with your appointment, I assure you, he is well worth waiting for.
Please do not take your frustration out on the staff who are doing their best to accommodate everyone.
The receptionists are always professional, helpful and friendly.
