I recently visited Tugun satellite hospital and was impressed with the level of care and professionalism. Took my daughter here for an iron infusion and wow, we were both really impressed.All the staff were super friendly and efficient and we were amazed how quick the whole procedure was. Also there is plenty of free parking out the front. I wish all medical facilities could run as smoothly as this.

The staff at the hospital were fantastic.

Our 4yo son broke his arm and we were seen to quickly and professionally for X-rays, pain relief, bone adjustment and casting all within a few hours.

The staff were respectful, had great bedside manner and made him feel really comfortable the whole time.

My daughter was turned away after waiting twice to see a Dr - she was exhausted after flying for hours and was suffering blocked ears, headache and nausea but because she was feeling unwell and wanted to sit down and light headed a nurse came to us and said they were not able to see her here. I tried to tell the nurse that they weren’t listening to her but was rudely turned away. We had to find a medical centre which we did and they saw her straight away - blocked ears and sinus- why couldn’t she be seen at Tugun?

All I can say is how brilliant this place is I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it has all the Modern technology nurses n doctors all staff ,front desk , security ,cleaners all very thorough n kind n helpful answered any questions I had and was able to get help for my problem I needed antiobotics n some other
medication ..as soon as I arrived details given , pain relief n waited no longer then n hour n a half in that time blood pressure checked ,heart rate pulse ..given a braclet with a QRcode they scan n get all your information ℹ️
I can’t praise this place enough what great care n works for minor injury n illness not a place to go for major emergency issues but I can see brilliant they free up the hospitals 🏥 for the major things ..

I was seen by doctor James Courts knows his stuff n explained things to me well

They also have a snack machine if you get hungry n a tv to watch I would recommend some health magazines or newspapers whilst people waiting but amazing 🤩

I was not expecting anything but the feeling of misspent public money, with the day hospital being built so close to the John Flynn Private Hospital.

Quite the opposite happened.
No waiting time, attentive staff including reception, nurse and doctor , so well done peoples.
It is a great service that takes some of the pressure off waiting for a doctor’s appointment which could now take days to get an appointment.
