This is a bike shop worth supporting! So very grateful to Marc and the team for their expertise and assistance with some very tricky issues with my MtB Hard Tail to Gravel Bike conversion. 'Outside the box' solutions were found to my brake disc incompatibility problem and now the bike is up and running. Super friendly genuine service, I highly recommend! J.

This review is for an in-store e-bike purchase made in late June 2024 - I’m relatively new to e-bikes (and bikes in general) and know next to nothing about them, but Clayton and the Ashgrove team were very helpful. I walked in uncertain about sizing, practicality and how to really even use an e-bike and walked out with an e-bike completely kitted out for me and ready for my (very long! 1.5h ) trip home with nothing left for me to do. Clayton also spotted a defective compact pump and replaced it for me before I took it home, and helped me add everything I wanted (a bottle holder and a D/U lock) to the oddly shaped frame. My main concerns around the range of the bike and how to properly secure it were all addressed by Clayton and there was nothing he couldn’t answer.

Would definitely recommend the Ashgrove team for all your biking needs, while I was in store I saw at least ten people pop in asking for parts and they were all served very promptly. I also saw a man walk in who was having issues with an electric scooter and the way the staff assisted him was respectful of his time (and money) - I think he was definitely happy with the outcome.

When I came into the store I did not have a clear idea on what I wanted in a bike, other than maybe the colours I like.

Micheal helped me do a deep dive into what my needs were and then discussed the options available to me. There was a wonderful selection of bikes to choose from and I got all the extras too (which was well worth the low price). The bike and all the extras was put together for me and I’m absolutely smitten with my new bike (pictured).

Focused on sales, hopeless warranty support. Bought a Velectrix ebike for my wife. After about a week the rear brakes stopped working, lever pulled all the way to the handle bar, but got some brake after pumping the lever. Took it in, said they fixed it, but the next day it failed, took it back, same thing happened. I bought the bleed system and fluid on ebay for under $50, fixed it myself, no problems after 6 months of us. Warranty and bike techs hopeless, do not recommend buying from Ashgrove QLD.

Highly recommend these guys for anything bike related - from purchasing the best bike for your needs, servicing and upgrading gear. Took my MTB to them for an appraisal and service. They thoroughly evaluated what needed servicing etc scheduled me in, and provided a very reasonable quote. Picked up the bike today and took if for a ride and it has never ridden better - like new.
