Booked online with Toowong GP Super Clinic for the first time because our regular doctor was on leave. The online booking process was straight forward and easy to use. The reception staff were welcoming and warm. Dr Ali Nobari is an exceptional and caring doctor and I am happy to highly recommend him and this clinic. Thank you!

Reception is nice.
For new customers, bulk billing is only for those with Medicare, not private insurance plans!!! Ads is misleading. Doctor is not patient enough.

I had a truly awful experience with Dr. Jun Xue. During my consultation, I briefly checked my phone while he was typing on his computer, and he immediately snapped at me, saying, “Don’t go on your phone while in consultation with me.” I asked why I couldn’t use my device while he was typing, and instead of a professional response, he spoke to me like I was a child, scolding me for about 5 minutes.
When I expressed that there seemed to be a generational and communication gap, explaining I’ve never been told to stay off my phone during consultations before and he did not outline this expectation at the beginning of our consult. He completely ignored me, stared at his computer, and carried on with the consultation.
I came to him for treatment for ringworm, specifically oral treatment, but he insisted I needed to do 3 tests before he’d prescribe anything. When I asked why I needed the tests—especially since my sister had seen another doctor recently and wasn’t asked to do the same—he rudely responded with, “Then go see another doctor.”
Dr. Xue’s behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and dismissive. I was made to feel unwelcome, and I will never go back. I’ve warned my friends and family about this doctor, and I strongly advise others to avoid him. Just because he’s the only bulk-billed doctor at the practice doesn’t mean he’s worth the visit. Professionalism and respect should not come with a price tag, and I won’t be returning.

My experience was decent. I’m not even sure if a 5-10 minute consultation can be good when it comes to health, especially when the doctor is trying to get as much information as possible, completely disregarding the human aspect—probably because they don’t have enough time, while also having to enter all that data. The whole system is terrible. As for the others, the receptionists weren’t as friendly as Australians usually are. The only really positive experience was with the woman who took my blood; I feel like she was the only one who truly saw me, while to everyone else, I was just a number.

She consistently demonstrates exceptional pleasantness and approachability. The staff are also exceptionally pleasant and helpful; they come highly recommended. She always provides suggestions on additional steps I can take.
