Dr John Arbuckle is a breath of fresh air in a bewildering array of medical practitioners who purport to care but who actually race to prescribe medications or refer you elsewhere. I have been John's patient for the past 10 years. He is a nice enough doctor, he listened and definitely has the gift of the GAB but very disappointed that he asked me in for the second appointment at $190.00 (after the first appointment being approx $400) only to tell me because I’ve had a cancer scare he can’t do anything for me in regards to prescribing hormones.

After coming home you can imagine my disappointment at spending close to $600 and sent home with no progress or positive outcome and when I rang emailed rang and rang asking for a refund of the monies of at least the second appointment. ABSOLUTELY NO REPLY to all my attempts in a conversation, email or respect over my situation. Seriously I had cancer at beginning of year and if he doesn’t prescribe hormones for woman in our situation he should PRE WARN US before taking all our money and sending us home disappointed. He has been in the field long enough to know what he can and can’t do in regards to prescribing hormones to people with cancer ...
My suggestion Dr Arbuckle get your receptionist to inform us before basically stealing the money out of our hands. Many of us can’t afford your prices for one and then on top of being sent home without any joy is malpractice and theft
