I am currently at the clinic writing this review, and I must say that the receptionist—who appeared to be either European or Latin American—was the rudest person I have ever encountered.

I was extremely unwell, and it was evident from my voice that I was very sick. When I asked for an appointment today, despite the clinic only having about five patients, she immediately said they were fully booked and refused to accommodate me. When we then asked if we could book an appointment for tomorrow, she made us wait for 15 minutes while she was on a phone call, speaking in her own language and showing no willingness to assist us.

Since it was my first visit to this clinic, I had to go through the registration process. Shockingly, she handled my registration while continuing her phone conversation, giving us minimal attention and acting as if we were a burden. However, we noticed that she was very polite and friendly with people from her own country and with Australians. It was clear that she was treating us differently simply because we were from another country. Her behavior was blatantly rude and, in my opinion, extremely racist—the worst experience I have had with any staff member in the entire Gold Coast.

Eventually, she did book my appointment for today, but she didn’t even communicate that with us. It was only when we asked her again that she casually mentioned we had been given an appointment.

This experience was unacceptable, and no patient—especially someone who is already unwell—should be treated with such disrespect and discrimination. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who expects basic professionalism and courtesy from the staff.

Dr Islam has been helping me for the last 6 years and also my family. We will not trust any other doctor than him. He is very thorough and pays attention to detail. He never rushes our appointment and always takes tge time needed. He does not treat us a number, he treats us as a patient and priority. Do not look any further and book your appointment with Dr Islam. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr Islam for all your support with our family.

I am writing this review while sitting in the clinic with my partner, who is extremely sick. From her voice alone, it was clear that she was unwell and needed immediate medical attention. However, the receptionist—who appeared to be either European or Latin American—was the rudest and most unhelpful person we have ever encountered.

When we first asked for an appointment for today, she immediately said that they were fully booked, despite the clinic only having about five patients at the time. Shockingly, the receptionist handled the entire registration while still on the phone, barely paying any attention to us. What made this situation even worse was that we noticed she was extremely polite and accommodating to patients from her own country and to Australians. However, when it came to us, she was dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful—her behavior was nothing short of discriminatory.

To make matters worse, as we sat there, we saw several other patients walk in after us, and the same receptionist willingly took them in without any hesitation, despite initially telling us that the clinic was fully booked. This made it very clear that her treatment towards us was not because of availability but rather because of bias.

Eventually, she did book an appointment for my partner today, but she didn’t even bother to inform us. We only found out when we asked again. Her lack of communication and professionalism was appalling.

No patient—especially someone who is visibly sick—should be treated this way. This was by far the worst experience we have had at any clinic in the Gold Coast. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect basic respect and professionalism from the staff.

I was referred to Dr Islam by another cosmetic clinic. I must admit, the clinic was right about Dr Islam. He is no doubt a great cosmetic injector. I have seen many GP's/Injectors before. Dr Islam is by far the best. Thank you Dr Islam for looking after me.

Doctor Latif is the most amazing, kind and caring doctor I have had in months! Maybe even years! He listened to me, gave me what I needed and set me up with the best plan for my health a doctor has ever given me! I have never walked away feeling more ready to tackle my health issues more confidently than ever. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The reception staff are all amazing and lovely as well. And the hit doc app is amazing for dealing with wait times - check in and go shopping and check your status in the queue via the app is amazing!!

I had a terrible experience at this clinic. Upon arrival, I was charged a $45 registration fee, provided my details, and was told to take a seat. After waiting 50 minutes, I noticed the doctor was idle with no other patients, but I was still waiting. When I checked with another receptionist, I found out I hadn’t even been checked in!

This was a complete waste of my time, and being exposed to other patients who were coughing nonstop made it even worse. The lack of communication and efficiency is unacceptable.

Please provide proper training to your receptionist! This is definitely not the first time patient was not checked in, because the other receptionist admitted “I know, I know, I’m sorry!” as soon as I asked her.

Doctor is nice, just receptionist needs to be more professional!

Called to inquire about booking a GP visit, receptionist kept interrupting and talking over me while making incorrect assumptions. When I finally got my inquiry across, she rushed an answer out and hung up promptly.

Terrible first impressions for the clinic. While her behavior is not indicative of the quality of doctors and appointments, she is still representing the clinic and has done so poorly. As seen by other reviews highlighting their experiences with reception, it's an ongoing issue that still hasn't been resolved by management.
