NBC has been an invaluable asset to our business and I honestly wouldn't want to imagine life without them. They are always responsive, diligent and looking out for our best interests. Since moving the management of my personal and business finance management to NBC many years ago I feel very comfortable that I am heading in the right direction. Wow. It was just before close on Thursday night and I rang to ask if an email could be sent to a finance company to verify I am a Director of my company and asked if they could ring the finance company to confirm the wording. This all happened in a matter of minutes and I received a confirmation email. It was so impressive that when I received the approval from the finance company they even made mention of how good the service was. Thanks again Joe and to all the staff for setting the bench mark so high that other companies can only look up and dream of being this good.

After having been with Bill Lawson for 8 years , when he transferred our business to NBC on his retirement, we looked forward to having the same kind of personal service we'd received from him. Unfortunately, it was not to be and in less than a few months, it's been very apparent that their preferred method of communication is electronic. There's a total reluctance to actually talk to you and explain why they want to do something and if you decline to do it, they don't like it. We received a bill from them for allegedly checking and stating the ASIC Portal statement was correct yet it wasn't as our registered office was at a different address. When we queried it, they couldn't understand why we didn't want to pay it when it wasn't right. They then sent us an electronic request to change our company registered office to theirs which we declined to do. Today, out of the blue, we received a piss-off-we-don't-want-your-business letter signed by one of the directors with whom we've had no prior communication. There was not even a phone call to ask what could we do better?
Strangely, on their website, there's an article by Tanya that states "Verbal and written communication skills also have a large impact on the quality of customer relationship" yet this company clearly doesn't practice what it preaches. If you're looking for an accountant that'll treat you like a person rather than just some email address, forget about using this company. Despite what others have said, we've found they have a disgusting way of treating their clients.
I wanted to give them zero stars but been forced to give one.
