My partner and I engaged in couples counselling with Teagan. We specifically chose to see Teagan as she is trained and has experience using the Gottman Method Couples Therapy framework.

I found Teagan to be highly skilled, professional and super personable. She always made us feel comfortable, heard and we always left a session feeling confident with our progress.

I made an appointment with Teagan after enquiring with reception regarding end of relationship counselling. At the beginning of the appointment it became apparent very quickly that there had been a mis/ breakdown of communication resulting in the session with this therapists experience and skill set not being suitable for our specific needs during a very delicate, tense and challenging transition. Honestly, it was not a good experience at all for me or my ex partner of 10 years resulting in increased tension between us. I decided to leave feedback and a 1 star review.

In response to my review I was contacted by Rachel Hannam (the clinical director) and we arranged a phone call. This conversation was a lot more beneficial given Rachel's skills, experience and understanding, not only with end of relationship knowledge but also with handling the unsatisfactory experience. Rachel offered another session with her which my ex and I attended recently.

Thank you Rachel for your genuine, honest, respectful approach and response. There had been a deterioration in mine and my ex's relationship since the previous appointment, the session with you assisted us in defusing tensions because you very tactfully, compassionately and skillfully addressed my ex and I (and our situation/ needs) in multiple ways that he and I could resonate with on an individual and personal level emotionally, intellectually etc. We came away feeling meaningfully supported and calmer with each other.

You clearly care about the business and the clients, I respect and appreciate that.
