I specifically requested an appointment with a female doctor. After an hour waiting, I was told the appointment was made with a male doctor. I watched as other people were seen to.
I changed my shifts at work for this appointment. And consequently had to cancel my appointment as I was now going to be late for work.

Honestly, what a waste of time

Dr Han Tan is extremely rude and behaves like a quack.

I came in after a severe fall from approx 3-4m where I impacted both heels before rolling over my feet. I had pain in both my ankles and shins, and couldn't put weight on one of my heels at all. Using stairs was painful due to my limited range of motion.

A doctor who saw the incident had done an "Ottawa test" and said it's not likely fractured but that I should get a scan for torn ligaments, rest and ice both sides.

Dr Tan didn't touch or inspect the area, or determine where on the ankles or shins it hurt. He said it was only bruised, because I couldn't walk in here if it were worse. Which completely dismissed that I'd had severe pain in walking in. It's not like I was about to crawl to the shopping centre!

Dr Tan then told me that he would use acupuncture because it was only bruised and placed the needles in my arm! He instructed me to stretch one foot at a time. I told him this hurt, so he said it needs another acupuncture needle. I asked him if that really works and he got offended by it and told me he used to have his own practice. The fact he doesn't have it any more should be a red flag! 🚩

I asked again about getting a scan and he said it was unnecessary and would cost money. He said I could get an x-ray for free instead. He told me he would call me with the results. He said in the mean time to keep stretching it to "loosen it up".

Painstakingly I went to the radiologist and had the x-ray done. They put me as a priority 5 to receive results the same day. And all of the following day I waited for the call. In the afternoon I called the medical centre and the reception said Dr Tan had gone home, but also that he had told the reception staff not to make phone appointments for him. I told them that it was the Dr who had said he would call me and they left a note for him to call in the morning.

The next day I called again, about midday, and the receptionist said Dr Tan had gone home again. They were able to read my results and advise me that it wasn't fractured. But then they said "You're all good".

I waited 3 days to be told I'm all good, however it has been over a week and I'm still in pain. And this doesn't give me any confirmation that it is a ligament or tendon issue. And the only direction I've had is to "stretch it". This is directly the opposite treatment for a sprain or torn ligament.

Honestly, I was shocked by the complete lack of medical knowledge or regard Dr Tan has. How he is allowed to continue seeing patients is beyond me.

Old frail Man fell outside the clinic down an escalator and they refused to help him as he didn’t have an appointment. I work at a medical clinic and we definitely would help, no questions asked. Very inhumane. Instead myself, a freshly graduated nursing and paramedicine student and bystanders had to help this man, when there are doctors, fully qualified doctors, inside the clinic who could of potentially saved this poor man’s life. He had a head wound and was on blood thinners and was bleeding ++, they still didn’t help while we waited for the ambos. Just disgusting. Thanks to chemist warehouse who gave us free supplies for me to dress his wound.

I have been visiting this practice for a little while now due to how convenient the locations is. I too have had an experience with time before patients with an exception of Dr Vueti who is absolutely amazing and gives you the time of day every single time. Receptionist is not very polite nor welcoming. The reason for this review today is, I just got off the phone to the rudest person I have ever come into contact with AND SHE WORKS IN A SENSITIVE AREA, my gosh you are a horrible person, how you got a customer focused position really beats me. Maria, I hope you are reading this and think twice next time you are so mean to a patient going through something you don't even know.

Not recommend! Receptionist is very rude, she hang up on me when I asked for a female doctor . The doctor is just dodgy . He listened to me for 5 min and charged me a full rate , when I said I got few other issues I would like his opinion on, he said there is no time for it now . I have to book another appointment.. like are you serious I was there for 5 min ? I booked another appointment 2h later and he charged me another full rate . Very disappointed

I visited the bulk billing doctor and firstly, I was grateful I got in same-day (every other bulk-billing clinic north of Bris was fully booked out for 4-5 days).

He was helpful and clear in his advice and our game plan to manage my injury - and even though I was there for a specific injury, he also took a few extra minutes to talk about my overall health & well being.

Not my regular doctor, but I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

I had an appointment booked in for 6 weeks. Turned up the morning of the consult to be told the Dr was away for 2 months. The receptionist said they tried to call but there was no answer, the number on file was not my number. The receptionist said well that's the number we had on file so yeah. Disappointing, been going here for over 2 decades and the service has slipped considerably over the past 5 years. Time to find another Dr.
