Being vulnerable, introspective, open and present were intellectual words prior to having the experience of Lomi Lomi. There is a primal aspect of submitting to my true self that makes unlocking authenticity in a way best described as divine. I did not know what was going to happen before starting the journey in the same way a child has no idea what it is to be an adult. I’m so happy that I allowed myself to peer into the unknown of my heart. My understanding of Aloha has also expanded to seeing and hearing others as myself. Whilst I enjoy receiving a massage, I have discovered my body responds best to Lomi Lomi massage.
For me it helps with pain management and also stress reduction.
