Poor Experience at Mater Health Hub, Springfield

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mater Health Hub, Springfield, on 12/12/2024, a few minutes after 10 am. Upon entering the facility, I approached the lady at the front desk with a smile and greeted her with "Good morning." Unfortunately, instead of responding to my greeting or listening to my inquiry, she dismissed me outright, saying, "If you are here to see the specialist, go to the specialist site."

I tried to clarify that I simply wanted to confirm if I was at the correct clinic, but she repeated the same instruction: "Go to the specialist site." Feeling upset and disheartened by this dismissive attitude, I walked away. However, what upset me further was witnessing her greet and assist another patient shortly after, followed by two more patients, all of whom seemed to receive courteous and helpful service.

I am deeply concerned and disappointed by this inconsistent and dismissive behaviour. Why was I treated differently? I would like to understand why my inquiry was met with such a lack of professionalism and respect.

Thank you for addressing this matter, as all patients deserve equal and respectful treatment.

Was there for the blood test. Still had about 15 minutes before her lunch break but she refused to do the test and suggested we should go someplace else. And receiptionist wasn’t very helpful.
