I had a very good experience with Morgan and her tailored skin treatment that left my face so smooth and myself happy and relaxed for the remainder of the day. A completely different approach to the client comparing to corporate skin clinics I attended in the past. Time was taken to talk to me, ask questions about my goal and concerns. And then treatment in quiet how I like to relax during skin appointments. I almost fell asleep. Will be back!

Highly recommend medwell. The treatment was effective. Very professional and caring . Removed a couple of large moles on forehead and several skin tags on eyelids. Delicate and effective. Highly recommend.

Dr Varma and his team are amazing. If you are looking for a GP who listens and has a holistic approach to health, they are the best. Dr Varma has been my doctor for many years and he became my partner’s doctor then my kids’ doctor too. The clinic offers so many services. It is definitely a special place. 100% recommend them.

My recent encounter with Medwell has left me disheartened but also questioning the practice's policies and their application. This is not my first unsettling experience with the practice, but it is one that highlights a consistent issue.

I sought an appointment for my 2-year-old daughter, who was showing concerning symptoms. After securing an appointment, it was later cancelled due to note on their system, on my daughter’s record, that I would not wearing a mask, despite a medical exemption. Even though I have been able to attend the clinic multiple times without any issue. This policy was not uniformly enforced, as I observed and was informed that NO staff or patients were wearing a mask. When I sought clarification and proposed alternatives, such as having my husband attend instead, we were abruptly told to seek care elsewhere.

There was no concern for my daughter's well-being, and this directive seemed devoid of any logical medical guideline.

This incident reminded me of a previous encounter in 2022, involving a directive to sit outside in the summer heat with my then newborn baby, despite my mask exemption. During this incident, the director addressed me personally, in what felt like a power-driven admonishment, for not following a mask policy from which I was exempt. This interaction set a precedent for the discriminatory and inconsistent treatment I've faced.

The practice's handling of these situations not only feels discriminatory but lacks the compassion and understanding essential in healthcare. Such experiences are distressing, particularly when they involve the care of young children. My intention in highlighting these incidents is not to cast aspersions but to urge a reflection on the need for empathetic, consistent, and clear communication. Policies should safeguard the well-being and respect the unique circumstances of every patient.

Healthcare should embody accessibility, non-discrimination, and inclusivity, ensuring that dignity and respect are paramount in-patient care. I hope Medwell will reconsider their approach and policies to better align with these fundamental values.

I couldn’t recommend a medical practice enough. The team at Medwell clinic are so kind and patient, they really took the time to understand my medical concerns and didn’t make me feel like another number on their list (something I have experienced at a lot of clinics) I didn’t have to wait around at all for my appointment and they even took the time to follow up with me after my consultation! Highly recommend this clinic for your medical needs!

Jess at MedWell was absolutely amazing! I had a skin tag lesion removed from my eyelid, and due to the location of the lesion it was a very sensitive area to have it removed from. Jess explained the procedure very well and took it slow to my comfort levels. She was so kind and caring, and I would recommend her to anyone looking at having any skin tags or moles removed. I went straight back to work after the procedure, without any bleeding or redness. The next day the area scabbed and fell off within a few days. Was such a hassle free procedure!
