I took my 2 year old to this clinic and was seen by Dr. Tony Arida. My son had blood in his urine before bedtime. The doctor said he was extremely surprised to hear this and said he had never heard of this or encountered any patients with this symptom. I personally suspected it may be a UTI. The doctor said he’s 100% sure it’s not a UTI despite not even bothering to take a urine sample. He said he has not a clue and sorry that he has no idea and can’t help.
Well he was 100% right about being clueless! So I took my son to The Children’s Hospital Randwick. First thing they did was a urine sample based on blood in urine and the test came back positive to a UTI. It was the triage nurse who did this. The nurse was more knowledgeable, competent, experienced and faster thinking than Dr. Arida.
Let me just say, the doctors at this after hours service are all incompetent reject doctors. I’ve taken my 4 year old daughter before out of desperation, purely on the basis that they provide late night services. Not because they are reputable or knowledgeable doctors, just because I’m desperate to be seen with small children after normal GP hours. Well I will never be that desperate again! They are just a waste of time reject doctors on a rotation that can’t get regular jobs elsewhere. They have no care factor, knowledge nor do they intend to build relationships with patients because they are simply filling a chair. Putting their butt on a chair to fill an after hours service and all they can offer are referrals to go elsewhere anyway or fill a script. They know they will never see you again and will not maintain regular patients and relationships so they don’t care!
Please don’t ever feel you are as desperate as I was to see a doctor and attend this service. Wait until the morning to see a real doctor or go straight to the hospital.
Thanks for nothing. Zero stars. Go back to school Tony before you put Dr. in front of your name.

I am incredibly impressed with the service at St George GP After Hours. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. The doctor I saw was not only knowledgeable but also displayed genuine care and empathy during my visit. Their after-hours availability is a true lifesaver, providing peace of mind knowing I can access excellent medical care when I need it. I can't recommend this clinic enough for their outstanding service and commitment to patient well-being.

I was given both bad advice and the wrong diagnosis. The doctor also failed to follow through with the report and medical certificate they promised. I understand that they get it wrong sometimes but if I am paying $100 for a five minute consultation, then I at least expect them to follow through on promises. So in summary it was a waste of time and money.

As a regular patient I love their.service,to all the lovely ladies at the reception are very helpful an welcoming,very good in handling angry patients,as to all the Doctors very proffessional in listening to our medical problems an will always provide medications required,they help with a smile an always satisfies every visit,their service is highly recommended if we all be patient as will be served at the best,thanks to you all an keep those lovely smiles shining.God bless you all an thanks again.

Been here three times and have always been happy with the doctors. They tend to be younger but I feel they have more patience to hear you out and take the extra steps to make sure you are diagnosed correctly

This should not be even treated as health service! Awful at timings. Doctor was meant to come at 1:00 pm, we were waiting since 12:30pm to save us waiting times. Until 2:00 pm no body knew the doctor’s whereabouts, nor the receptionist nor the management teams. This is crazy. If it was not urgent I would have gone to my GP but they had no appointments. Thought this would make my life easy but as a patient it was even more frustrating. Not recommended at all!

I had Very bad experience the asian lady doctor prescribed the wrong antibiotics to my 8 years old son after 8 days of him not getting better i had to go elsewhere to get the right treatment
My advice have a second opinion before giving your kid a prescribed medication
