I have been going to one life medical for 5 years. Dr Deepa was my doctor for years and she was great. Now moved on to Melbourne. I now see dr philip. she is also a great doctor, receptionists are lovely aswell. Best practice in the redlands.

I have been going to one life medical for 5 years. Dr Deepa was my doctor for years and she was great. Now moved on to Melbourne.

I have been with one life medical centre for a few years now and have found the doctors, staff, and other persons associated with this practice to be exemplary in their professional outlook to all facets of caring for their clients. My doctor, being Dr
Aju philip is a doctor who I believe shows "true empathy , compassion and understanding for those patients she has on her registrar as well as myself. Another person who I admire in a similar vein is kieren on the front reception desk. I highly recommend this medical centre for what I believe a medical practice should be all about !

Bulk billed every consultation. However, the waiting time is roughly 45minutes-1 hour (or more) later than your appointment time. Would be excellent if they would be on time.Otherwise, good staff and doctors. Happy with Dr. Efimoff.

Thought I'd left this some time ago but it wasn't there.
The only saving grace about this practice is the girls at the front desk. The doctor was both incompetent and spoke down to me like some half-wit piece of cattle (Dr. Deepa), not actually listening to me or acknowledging what I had to say and because I dared to call her out on that behaviour and then question her generic responses, she got all stroppy and was even less helpful.

So regretting I moved my file there after my regular doctor moved....now I've found them again I left straight away and then had trouble getting my information moved again as they stuffed that up too, and I am still thinking some information since then hasn't been forwarded.
When I make an appointment I expect it to be on time when there no emergencies, just like I am expected to be on time.

I've been with this Doctor's surgery since I returned back to Brisbane in 2019. My previous Doctor didn't bulk bill. Most doctors in the area didn't take on new patients and there was over a 2-3 week wait for an appointment!! It was SO hard to access medical care.

But I digress. I'm here to give my review on OneLife Medical at Alexandra Hills.

The reception staff here are friendly and professional, and I don't feel like I'm just a number with them. They greet me by name, say g'day and always have a smile.

Using the HotDoc app to make appointments through is the perfect thing for me - because I can schedule an appointment when it's convenient, and see when appointments are available without needing to call ahead, or wait until they're open. It's so convenient when illness strikes at inconvenient times.

They started bulk billing in 2019 after my first appointment with them. As a result, they have more patients and sometimes appointment availability is decreased. I've had to wait a couple of days usually for an appointment, but if it's urgent and I call in the mornings, I can usually get in if there's a cancellation.

My doctors are amazing! Doctor Deepa investigates EVERYTHING so thoroughly and is a real ally in mine and my family's health. She found my bowel cancer that my previous Doctors had missed for the last 6 years I was under their care. I'm now cancer free thanks to being believed, and having an aggressive diagnostic approach. I'm on the correct medication for my other conditions that occur with getting older. I've seen Doctor Sushil quite a few times myself and with my daughter and she is lovely to speak with about any concerns we have.

I have no hesitation in recommending either of these Doctors or their surgery to others.
