Blood and swabs taken today in Arana Hills. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. The staff member was a breath of fresh air. How someone can make a real difference- she was totally professional, bright ,polite ,warm ,kind , cheerful and enthusiastic and very skilled. I walked away half healed !!! Thank you for the energy you give ! 🙏

I had a fasting blood test to do early this morning around 8am 26/9/24 and was so surprised with the absolute compassion and professionalism demonstrated by Shelly the phlebotomist who unfortunately had to take 7 vials of blood as per the request! Despite this, she used a butterfly clip which means you don't feel her changing from one vial to another and not only that, I didn't even feel the needle go in! Trust me, I've had plenty of blood taken in my time and she was the very best! Every other time I'd been there in the past, the staff were rude and uncaring. What a breath of fresh air Shelly is! Love your work and kind approach Shelly!

I am absolutely blown away at the experience I had today at SNP Arana Hills. Shelly was the kindest, sweetest, most professional person I have EVER met at a pathology store front and I have unfortunately seen A LOT. I am so unwell and felt awful even leaving the house and Shelly made me feel so welcome and safe. Thanks so much Shelly, I hope you know what an effect your kindness has.

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with getting my blood taken. Staff member ( who was on at 4.30pm today) was by herself and rushing through people, making everyone aware how they were understaffed even though there was only 1 person in the waiting room during my visit. Told her I was needle phobic and I asked to lay down. Had no empathy , didn’t check my veins properly to see what one was good, shoved the needle in and then complained that she wasn’t getting enough blood, then repeatedly showed me the tube of blood even though I told her I was needle phobic and then she complained that she can’t even try again because she broke some valve !. Suggested I was dehydrated which was untrue as I was very well hydrated, then tried to blame my anxiety when I was the calmest I’ve ever been , which I told her ( stayed still , didn’t cry , didn’t tense up , was breathing normally) . Told me that I’d have to get another test tomorrow but not to return to her clinic as they would be busy tomorrow. No professionalism, no empathy, rushing and couldn’t even do her job properly. Will not be returning!!!! Worst experience

Needs 2 staff members ....otherwise be prepared for long wait.....and instigate an order number system so people don't have to keep track of who is next in queue. Not all people are courteous.

Absolutely appalled by how rude and intimidating the lady who was working today (2/2). I felt extremely uncomfortable with the way I was treated and felt like walking out - disgusting behaviour and not the kind of person that should be doing this sort of job.

I usually come here if I need my blood taken. The lady who usually is here I think she’s gone. The lady who tried to take my blood today was kind and really tried to get my veins but missed twice. So there’s bit of a bruise…
