I emailed a complaint through about an appointment I had where I felt rushed and completely dismissed.. never heard back and they would not pick up my phone call. I went to a different dermatologist today and was told that the doctor’s advice I was told from SE Dermatology was harmful and wrong.. a waste of $300

My husband had a recent consultation with Dr. Simon Yong Gee, and we could not speak highly enough about him, the consultation was not rushed , he took time to explain the diagnosis, ordered tests, emailed us with the details of the consultation, then phoned at 7.30pm with test results. No telehealth cost, He is one of the nicest and thorough specialists we have come across. 5stars.
Unfortunately we do agree with other comments re Reception.

I was referred by my GP to see Dr Zachary Boyce
What a waste of time and money
I waited 30 mins and the consultation lasted no more than 10 minutes with no outcome
He was clueless as to what was wrong. So sent me for a blood test and then never sent the report to my GP.
Thanks Dr Boyce for nothing and legally stealing my money
You're a lazy ,incompetent waste of people's time

I visited South East Dermatology for a skin cancer check yesterday following detection of a melanoma earlier this year. I can see from the other comments that there must have been issues with administration in the past but I found the practice to be extremely helpful and professional. My doctor was very thorough and lovely and I had no wait time. All team members went above and beyond and I will be recommending this practice to everyone I know for early skin cancer detection. I have already booked in other family members.

For ten years I had an issue with my scalp and tried so many things I was depressed and my hair was thinning as a result. In one consultation Dr Simon Yong Gee changed my life and in two days I was 100% clear of my problem. Very impressed with the result!

I visited the clinic last week and for privacy reasons I’m not using my name for the review. Upon arriving I was greeted by the admin staff which were lovely regardless of how busy they were. However, the attitude I received from the so called head nurse was so unprofessional. I understand having a bad day but this is not the only occasion where I have seen her act this way towards patients.

While the dermatologists I saw were pleasant and professional, I don't believe they adequately assessed my skin and situation.
I spent a lot of money here on appointments and topical products which did not help, and only after giving up and doing my own research, discovered my makeup foundation type and a supplement to be the cause of my skin concern, neither of which I was asked about. The next step was to be a round of medication with likely side effects. The reception also lets this place down as others have stated, with some staff acting immaturely and unprofessionally.
Please note it has been a long time since I attended, hopefully services have now improved

Been in pain with psoriasis (feels like burned skin and looks horrible too) for years but this year has been the worst and I finally decided to get help. I followed the therapy plan and 6 weeks later I could get on injections. Waited another week for my prescription (still nothing). I applied for my skyrizi welcome kit and it came the following day. I sent an email and I called these guys up 11 times on a Wednesday was on hold for 10 mins to only be told to wait for another call. I called up the following day because I didn't get a call I was told they would call me to let me know. Then another following day (Friday) I was told to wait again as they had only just sent my script off to process, plus the lady didnt really care how she spoke to me theres no need to be sassy, I can put up the pain and wait but it does hurt if you can't care alittle bit for your patient. Especially since I've had to be the one to follow up and practically beg for my own script. I'm not impressed I have to pay for bad phone manners and wait by my post box for a script.
