I found Geoff’s website about 2 years ago - made the call for an appointment and have never looked back! After a few years of ‘traditional CBT and just talking’ with a psychologist, I was searching for something different so I could move forward. Geoff is non judgmental, a calming & soothing energy, very intuitive and he can immediately sense when I am ‘off’. Geoff’s healing sessions ARE what moved me out of my ‘rut of depression’ - something I had not achieved with my former regular psychologist after a few years. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about meditation and Geoff’s holistic approach was what I was searching for. Geoff was and is ahead of western society psychological ideology and traditions. Since meeting Geoff, I have found a profound peace within myself and the ease to let go of the toxicity that was killing my soul so I can move forward and achieve my goals and purpose in life. He is the guiding light in a world of darkness, mayhem and instability.

My first session with Geoff was in 2017 at a time when stress was severely impacting my work and relationships. Today I still have stressful days juggling responsibilities at work and home, but with Geoff’s help I’ve developed coping strategies that stop the downward spiral. The main thing I’ve worked on with Geoff has been building a daily meditation routine to reduce the stress I feel from the anxiety provoking world we live in.

Our sessions usually begin with talking therapy, as I often arrive stressed out, followed by meditating with Geoff’s help. This calms my anxiety down to a point where I can think more clearly and continue onward as a father and provider without the stress.

I don’t see Geoff as often as I did in the early days, as I’ve got a meditation routine that helps, but life’s challenges still sometimes overwhelm so it’s good to have Geoff there at those moments.

I came to Geoff approximately 5 years ago, whilst going through some of the most traumatic years of my life, to say the least. Dr Geoff Lyons is a very good counsellor and therapist, actually amazing. Someone else wrote that he's the real deal and I agree. His experience offers so much more than regular counselling, which is normally CBT (talking about the problems, which can be like going around in circles). I'm so grateful for his help.
