I've just about had enough Coles.

At 5:58 p.m. on a Friday night and Coles Annandale 4814 does not have one checkout lane open with a staff member. When I asked if someone could help me, the very nice staff member managing the self-checkout said that they could "show me how to check out my own shopping".
Fair dinkum, do you think I'm stupid? Do you take me for a bloody fool?
I do not and will not check out my own shopping; unless you are prepared to start giving me a discount. Your self-checkout is extremely annoying and does not enable me to engage with your staff members should I need to.

One checkout with one staff member as a minimum would be acceptable, I'm more than happy to wait in line, but I'm not happy to do what I'm paying you people to do. Stop ripping the community off and start supporting the community that keeps your company alive.
Based on the figures below you should be absolutely ashamed of your staffing policies. Do not blame your staff it is your staffing policies that means staff shortfalls in the store.

The best Coles in Townsville with the best staff members. From the Bakers, deli and check out clerks, they're all very helpful and welcoming. I love listening to the Deli man read out his specials 😂 he needs his own radio station.
