A week and a half after doing blood tests I contacted the clinic to see why I have not heard about my results. I was told my results must be clear so the doctor wouldn't contact me (I found this very surprising, but went along with them). I asked for my results to be emailed to me, and was told this would be done. After three days I phoned again, and was told that they will be emailed the same day. Next day I phoned again, and was told to make a phone appointment with the doctor to get my results, so I did. The next day I received a letter posted 6 days prior asking me to book an appointment as there was something the doctor had to discuss with me. Why was I not told this the first I phoned them? I see the doctor didn't phone them through, as they wanted to charge for another appointment. Interestingly they charge the same appointment fee for a consultation as they they do for you to get your results, even though the result consultation was a phone call lasting less than 3 minutes. I asked the doctor to email the full results to me, and she said she would. I phoned that afternoon, only to be told that the doctor will do that later that afternoon, not following the consultation, because that's how things are done.... like I was meant to know that. But of course, nothing. Phoned the next day, told it would happen, but no. The next day I asked to speak to the manager, and she questioned me twice about whether I had spoken with the doctor, and then said that if I'm unhappy with the practice.... At this point I did cut her off and said I would find a new doctor.

My partner and I had just had one of the rudest experiences with who ever was answering the phone and booking appointments this morning.

Each time I come back here I get another reason to go somewhere else. Like the time a doctor told me my baby’s fontanelle (soft spot on top of their head) has closed and fused at 4 months old lol

Was issued scripts and was meant to have a full course of medication issued. I was accidentally only proscribed half the required medication. After calling and informing the staff about this issue they said they would handle it. After 3 days of no communication I made contact again and was told that they weren’t able to contact my doctor as he’s sick, I’d have to come back in again and see another doctor and I would be charged the consultation fee. I really like my doctor but the lack of communication and the fact that they are trying to get me to pay again for their mistake appalling.

More trouble than it’s worth going there. Because the doctor you booked me in with isn’t even registered with Medicare. If I knew the doctor wasn’t registered I wouldn’t have gone there. If the doctor isn’t registered, then Medicare won’t issue the rebate. You kept saying I had to lodge the rebate myself. I did and it was rejected twice. Then I rang Medicare and they say it’s not your fault but it’s the Medical Centre’s fault because the doctor isn’t registered. Total incompetence. Even when I went to the radiologist she was questioning the doctor’s notes like they didn’t make sense. It has been 2 weeks and nothing has been resolved. I don’t know if the doctor is a fly by nighter or what.
