This is the worst facility ever. Even though the staff try to be dedicate, they are overloads of work and cannot assist with quality the residents. The manager is very rude, apparently doesn’t care to make a healthy environment and treat even the students with indifference. I’ve been to another blue care in Wynnum and it’s possible to have other perspective to see this one only cares about money.

I live in the units next door to this facility. 3 separate staff members from this facility have come to smoke outside MY house. I have informed all of them to please smoke elsewhere yet one lady continues to still smoke outside my house. The smell permeates through my kitchen window and my front door, not only that but I DO NOT appreciate the cigarette butts and other rubbish they leave in my driveway and next to my mailbox which I have photos of. I have complained over the phone, and notified the council. Please have some respect for people that actually live in this street.

From my perspective I like TriCare Annerley. My mum likes living there as well. The review above is from one view point only. As from ours well, my mother has been diagnosed as having dementia (early stages) with added complication of severe depression. We looked around and found this place to be the most suitable for her and ideally located for my brother and my self to come and visit. She has been living there for over 5 months now and have seen her thrive on the care the nursing staff are giving her. For one, her depression looks like it is lifting. Another reason we feel that she is being looked after is the beautiful happy smiles we get from her when we visit She is content and says she loves the food. At the beginning of this year (2013) the home has had a major overhaul and the end result was nothing but positive.

If you are looking for an opulence well this is not then for you, however if you are looking for a good clean place with friendly staff, by all means check it out. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 Star was that the decor of the residence is along the border of being retro (70's) style. But that's why I think my mum felt at home, as her own home had the same vibe.

While Tricare Annerley is an older style facility, the care, kindness and home-cooked food is nothing short of a 5 star package. My mum moved in just before Covid-19 hit. I couldn't ask for better care and attention to detail afforded to her. Many thanks to the managers, nurses, staff and kitchen for everything you do. It really is much appreciated by our family. Over the past few years I have had much contact with Tricare Annerley, with three elderly relatives for whom I am responsible, residing at this facility. The building itself may be old, but what really counts is the level care, safety and respect that residents receive. Being a smaller facility, it has a homely atmosphere.
Over the past year, many upgrades have been made - refits of room built-ins; external upstairs covered veranda; remodelled rear entry and resident lift.
Residents are given a great range of choices in regular outings - restaurant lunch excursions, picnics, cultural event celebrations - even annual visits to the RNA exhibition.
If you are in the situation of needing to find care for an elderly relative, look past the older style building and into the things that really matter. I think that you may be pleasantly suprised!

My mother has been living there now for 3 years ans she is ver happy there. She now 95 as is beeter now than whe she first moved there. On Tueday they had their Christmas party and had a magician and also a singer for entertainment. The staff organised by Kerry and Dayani worked their butts off making sure everyone was fed and refreshed.
It was a lovely evening and a very nice christmas atmosphere with everyone together. I look forward the next event there. Richard Autenzio.

I'm sure the staff here are dedicated and professional, but there is a resident here who screams night and day. I live on the other side of the fence and I've asked what the deal is and they say she has "behavioral issues". Seriously this lady is the biggest argument for voluntary euthanasia there is - if I euthanised myself maybe I'd get some peace and quiet.
