Dr Paul Schiavo is a good human in addition to being a great doctor. I've been living in chronic pain for way too many years now and was either just medicated or placated by many doctors. I've developed a great team of Brisbane medical professionals now, and Dr Schiavo plays a very important role in this for me. He was willing, and able, to keep looking for the real cause of my pain and then to treat it properly. He's been the only one that has ever offered sustainable long periods (years at a time) without excessive pain. I've just returned to see Dr Schiavo after around three years without a visit and he is the same amazing operator he always was. Now he has some great works with Andy at Pulse & Echo as well, and with Ray, Barb and Georgia, they're the dream team.

Attending the Urgent Care Centre at Kedron, I was referred to Ortho Regen/ Pulse & Echo for an ultrasound of my knee. Walking through the door, I immediately noticed how Barb the practice manager greeted everyone by their name, a welcome change from many other medical practices where people are just a number. Even without an appointment I was immediately welcomed and only had to wait 15 mins before seeing Andy, the sonographer. What a great experience that was, not only did he perform the procedure with expertise, he was also very approachable and knowlegeable and made me feel at ease with his caring and understanding nature.

From the first moment, it was very obvious that the whole team at Ortho Regen/Pulse & Echo really cares about their patients and provides them with the best medical care possible. Would definitiely recommend to anyone in need of ultrasound and/or other ortho treatment.

Having a complex case of thoracic outlet syndrome that many drs haven't been able to treat, I feel like I've come closest to an answer with the team here. The drs here have showed such genuine care ans compassion with helping me and my treatment. They want you to get better. I do wish I had come here before going into surgery.

Paul Schiavois one amazing man, my husband had been reading about this process and encouraged me to see him. I had 2 miniscus tears as well as loose ligaments on both sides of my knee and struggling with my Reformer classes as well as just general walking and stairs. I decided to bite the bullet and had the recommended PRP process done. It was 2 days of pretty severe pain but after a week I was back at Reformer Pilates. A few months later we went on a 36 day cruise and hubby and I walked the 128 stairs back to our room daily 2 or 3 times. 6 months on I can’t remember the pain I had before my treatment. My knee I would have to say is 98 % which is pretty good for my 64 years. I would definitely recommend this treatment.

I highly recommend Dr Paul. He is a genuine person who knows his regenerative medicine. I personally have had his potent PRP therapy and now 12 months later, after being on crutches some days as my knees were so painful, I can walk daily without pain and do many movements I could not do before. In fact yesterday, our irritation pump broke down, so I descended down a steep long embankment and climbed up again 6 times in total during our repair job. I could not have dreamt of doing that 12 months ago.

Dr Schiavo was and is brilliant. Spoke to him via the phone for our first consultation and we soon became friends. He knows his stuff and puts you at ease right away.
I’ve had Prolotherapy and PRP for a neck issue which I have had trouble with going on over 3 years.
I’m writing this review one day after treatment which I found to be relatively easy.
I cannot comment yet as to results as I have to wait and see, however I will write more reviews as I recover.
So far the process has been awesome.
Barb at the front desk is always very helpful and easy to communicate with.
Thankyou from bottom of my heart and look forward to making another review.

The lead up was painful. My inquiry and subsequent booking were forgotten twice and took 3 months to organise. While I understand this procedure is not for everyone, I was told early in the piece that I should expect a 90% improvement in the use and pain in my knee. During the second consultation, I was told between 70-90% improvement. On the day of the procedure, 50-70%. Unfortunately, there has been very little change. Like I said, maybe this procedure isn't for everyone, the unrealistic promises and the fact that I had absolutely Zero follow-up from the surgery made me feel like it was a waste of time and money.

I am honestly so glad I found Dr Schiavo. I wouldn't have gotten this far in my recovery journey without him. He is a genuine, caring and trustworthy doctor and bonus as all his treatments are natural, safe and more effective long term (I wish i found him sooner). I feared my body would not return to full function but with Dr Schiavo's treatments he has got me up and mobile again (going for 10km walks). Forever grateful. He is also the most approachable doctor I have ever met (and I have met alot!). Another bonus, his practice manager Barbara is also so genuine, caring and professional. Thank you.
