I’m not one to leave bad reviews for anywhere as I’m quiet an understanding person but This week, I stepped into your clinic for the very first time, filled with hope, and saw Dr. Irfaan. I’ve been eagerly waiting for my regular GP, who is currently on holiday, but in the meantime, I’ve been grappling with a multitude of symptoms that are severely impacting my quality of life, symptoms that I believe indicate some form of chronic illness. Unfortunately, the moment I entered that room, he completely dismissed everything I shared, practically insisting it was all in my head. I felt belittled as he repeatedly questioned, “What do you want from me today? I can’t help you with these random symptoms you’re describing.” In desperation, I asked if he could perform an antihistamine blood test; my mum had told me how antihistamines had aided her during similar struggles, and they've been helping me a bit too. But he shot back in the rudest tone, “Is your mother a medical professional?” I responded, “No, but she’s just trying to help me.”

That’s when I broke down, tears streaming down my face, feeling utterly embarrassed because all I wanted was his assistance. Instead, he made me feel like everything I expressed was wrong. He kept repeating, “You’re completely healthy, you’re fine; all your blood tests from the hospital are fine. Why are you like this?” I couldn’t hold back anymore; I just said, “I’m so tired of feeling like I can’t get out of bed. My body hurts, my head hurts; everything hurts.” His only response was a cold, “What do you want me to do?” After that, he asked for my psychiatrist’s name and scribbled it down while scrutinizing my emergency admission papers about heart issues, casually suggesting it was probably just a panic attack.

I attempted to convey all the research I had done, insisting I thought I had POTS, as I had performed the test at home with my Apple Watch multiple times and met the criteria. His indifference was disheartening; he finally conceded to do the test but seemed to lack the proper method, asking me to sit for just a minute before standing up, disregarding that I had just been crying uncontrollably and hyperventilating. He quickly declared that I didn’t meet the criteria, despite the fact that the POTS test requires one to lie down for ten minutes and be completely relaxed.

I left feeling distraught. The very next day, I saw my amazing psychiatrist, who is truly wonderful and listened as I poured out my heart. She was horrified by what I had experienced. To add to the insult, Dr. Irfaan even inquired about my background while flipping through my hospital discharge letters from the past two months related to an abscess. He asked, “Are you Greek?” suggesting that many Greek individuals get abscesses because of their curly hair. When I questioned whether internal abscesses 4cm deep could stem from hair, he simply dismissed me and changed the topic. It was a horrible experience, one that left me in tears for hours afterward.

Great local GP. I've been coming here 10 years at least. Easy parking. Good aircon. Comfy chairs. Doctors here specialising in many areas not just Diabetes. The nurses and admin here are awesome too and we all know they run the show.

Really poor experience at this clinic. Had been seeing a doctor for a little while there and then suddenly was refused any further appointments as I am unvaccinated. Was spoken to like I was filth by the receptionist due to this. I asked for copies of my records and results and was mucked around for 3-4 months, back and forward asking for them on the phone and via email until I eventually was told “you can’t have them”. I expressed my disappointment and disgust and was ignored. So much for not being allowed to be refused medical help with all this vaccine nonsense. This is a very backwards practice and I would never give them another dollar.

Amazing practice!!! The doctors and staff are outstanding. I went once on a friends recommendation and now I have taken all my kids there, we can always get an appointment which is so important when you have sick kids. We don't have diabetes we go just as a general practice. Highly highly recommended I think they are the best gp practice in town.

I use to recommend this practice when it first opened and went for a lot of years, would not send my worst enemy there now, some of the doctors got a bit to big for their boots. Money became more important than patients really sad
