Waited 2 hours with no one else in the waiting room. Once I got in to see the doctor he was rude and gave me the wrong diagnoses without any tests. I’ve now gone to a walk in medical practice and a GP diagnosed me with pneumonia. Balmain hospital is a very poor service and should be given a drastic overhaul of staff.

Horrible doctors, nice nurses but terrible doctors. Waited 5 hours for a 2 minute conversation in which they were to busy to do further tests and sent me to a different place.

I turned up at Balmain Hospital with swollen glands in my face.
The nurse told me I have to wear a mask as it is mandatory, I told her it wasn’t and that the mask mandate in hospitals ended months ago. She told me I couldn’t sit in the waiting area without a mask on a forced me to sit outside the hospital.

She proceeded to ask me if I was vaccinated to which I replied “it is none of your business”.
The nurse was totally unprofessional and was putting her own personal and political views before the treatment of a patient I would say.

Just wanted to share our gratitude and appreciation for the care Balmain Transitional Care Unit provided for my mother Aphrodite. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors, and allied health team for their professionalism, expertise, and support to get our mother home. Special thank you to Dr Eve McClure for her exceptional care! Jessica the OT for her attention to detail. And of course Ai the beautiful Diversional Therapist for her talented skills to brighten up the day for the patients with her enchanting tunes on the piano and her cheerful demeanour. Thank you!

Nice hospital with lots of restaurants near by. However parking is quite expensive.

If you need to go there daily you can book parking from Parkhound or any other app. They offer rental parking private owners. I booked for 10 days. Saved heaps on parking. However, book early. Very limited availability.

There is paid Street parking available for 4 hours though. But will cost 15-20 for 4 hrs.

After my second visit to this hospital, I can say I have never had such bad experiences with a hospital. Their staff are rude, unprofessional and not helpful at all. Safe yourself from the stress and go to a proper hospital like RPA. At least you know you are waiting in the queue and when the doctor will visit you despite many patients.

if you happen to be unvaxxed of the heart disease jab c19- you will be treated completely differently to people who have been Covid vaxxed. Only when the vaccinated have been seen too- you will then be seen too and treated like you are dumb
