Arrived at the Medical Centre at 8.04am for my 8.10am appointment with Dr Nikita.

No one was in the waiting room, and Dr Nikita was talking to the young receptionist.

They both did NOT acknowledge that I was standing at the front desk, waiting to be served.

Dr Nikita and the receptionist continued to chat for a long time, even knowing I was standing there.

From what I could hear from the conversation, it sounded like they were talking bad about a current employee who doesn’t use the correct codes.

After a few minutes, they finally stopped chatting and the young receptionist served me. Dr Nikita went into her office.

I went to sit up near Dr Nikita’s office. I was hoping she would take me in straight away, but she came out of her office to speak to the young receptionist again.

They obviously wanted to continue with their long conversation.

After a few minutes of waiting, I got up and looked at her, and I said to her politely, “I have an appointment with you” and she pointed her finger at me and said “I know” in a rude manner.

She then proceeded to chat some more with the young receptionist before seeing me.

When I finally got to see her, she asked me to lie on the bed and I noticed a lot of short black hair on the bed. You can obviously tell, this Medical Centre does not change their disposable sheets after each patient.

The fact that Dr Nikita and the young receptionist were talking openly about other employees is extremely unprofessional in the workplace.

Also, the fact that Dr Nikita made me wait is also unprofessional.

Would be nice if the Doctors here were friendly, smiling, warm, and professional.

Really disappointing. Pick up your socks Nikita.

Dr Nikita has been nothing but lovely towards me, she is straight to the point and gets the job done. I appreciate that she’s one of the only doctors around that still bulk bills for her patients. She’s always up for a little chat with me and the only doctor that has been willing to work with me to get my endometriosis pain managed properly.

I'm really grateful for Dr Nikita's genuine care and diagnostic abilities. She is warm, kind and listens to me as a patient. The centre is on time with their appointments and conveniently located next to a pathology and chemist.

Dr Nikita is absolutely clueless. I don’t where she got her degree from but she should do her studies again. I went in with a throat problem and difficulty breathing and she had no clue of how to help and didn’t refer me for anything. I went to another GP this afternoon and got the correct medical advice from her. Highly recommended Runcorn Medical Centre if you want to see a real doctor.

The doctors are great, professional and caring. The location is convenient. However, one receptionist I felt was a bit rude, abrupt, and not very courteous. Aside from that, it’s a good medical centre overall.

I had a telephone consultation with Dr.Nikita and she was very rude, blunt and condescending. I have seen her few times before in person and she had the same attitude but today she refused to provide me with the medical assistance I required and instead, started arguing with me. Lack of compassion and professionalism and unable to provide clear directions as to next steps. Very disappointed to receive this type of degrading service in Australia!

I do not recommend seeing Dr Nikita. I have seen her a few times trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but she is consistently condescending and self centred in her concerns, paying little mind to my needs and questions.
She lacks medical knowledge and general human decency. She gave me a hard time for accessing a bulk-billing ultrasound place and tried to refuse care for me for not completing an unnecessary genetic test.

She makes every request for care difficult, while trying to belittle you. I submitted a formal complaint to the practice manager with no response. I was unfairly discharged for “verbal abuse” (I did not swear, call names or be belligerent) because Dr Nikita didn’t want to do her medical duty of the service I had attended the clinic to receive; an incredibly frustrating and upsetting outcome. If she had done her job and meaningfully inquired and assessed me (actually doing her job as a doctor) I would have been understanding of contrary evidence. This was not the case; she only sought to get me out of her room without doing her job.

Wish I’d read these reviews before seeing her. I encourage every other person who has had a bad experience to submit a formal complaint to the Health Ombudsman so something can be done about this pattern of incompetence.
