We have been seeing Dr Aida for years and have been coming to Star Medical for some time now... they are always friendly and helpful and Dr Aida is amazing.

The most frustrating clinic to deal with!!! Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
I needed to get a prescription before the weekend which reception was holding for me. I phoned their number at 1pm to get a message that they are on a lunch break and they do not answer their phones during lunch. Isn't that extraordinary for a doctors clinic!!!!!
Then I phoned back at 2pm to receive a message that they are now closed even though their outgoing message says that they close at 5pm and their website confirms this.
There is an emergency mobile number one can phone which I did. Guess what..... it went to message bank!!!!
Thank goodness I'm not dying.
This is not the clinic to go to if you want health care

I am registered with Star Medical Centre Acacia Ridge for about last 8 years. Today, I called star medical to book an appointment with one of their GP Dr. James Hong. Receptionist informed me that Dr. James does not see any patient who haven’t consulted him in the last 6 months. I explained that I was already treated by Dr. James in the past and he knows my case history very well as he had also referred me to a specialist treatment previously. However, I was surprised by a response from the receptionist. She told me that in order to book an appointment with GP Dr. James, I have to first book an appointment with another GP in the same clinic. And, based on the assessment of this another GP, I will be then referred to GP Dr. James. It was a very shocking response, probably nowhere in Australia such things happened, where to book an appointment with a one GP, a referral/approval from a second GP within a same clinic is needed, and, obviously Medicare will be charged for consultation with both the GPs. I just thought to share this strange, wonderful experience I encountered today.

Today I went to start medical booked appointment for 10 am someone itself said I have appointment at 10:15 and receptionist wasn’t aware about her appointment at all. and Dr. Elmera come out and called her get her before me. And other things to bring for safety no one was following social distancing and I saw pathology staff was dealing with patients in her own language I didn’t understand and everyone for blood test was waiting for her.

Patient have to wait for at least 30 min before doctor will see you. Go somewhere else with better management.
