Only had one bad experience with one of the doctors but some of the recent doctors I've seen have been fantastic and super helpful, also the nurses are some of the best and have helped me and my kids many times and are so nice and friendly. The counter staff are very nice too and work very hard, I'm super thankful for all the help everyone here has given me!

Online booking with Hot Doc looks great, click the "repeat prescription" button, pay my money, understand the meaning of, "Your doctor will make a decision regarding your request and will respond to you via email, typically within 5 days. If you are expecting to receive any documents for your request, your GP may send it to you separately or advise you on what to expect"." Wait 8 days no response! check by email and was told the doctor would respond that day... he never did.

This clinic has deteriorated dramatically to what it once was. If a Dr orders tests for a patient I would expect they would then pass the results on to that patient. Wrong.....not at this clinic, it seems results are private for Drs only. Generally, Drs lack attention to detail & my advice is to avoid registrars at all costs. I have no complaints re reception girls, I always find them extremely pleasant. It wouldn't be an easy job.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOKEN ABOUT SO DISGUSTINGLY BY JULIE!

Extremely unprofessional, the receptionist Julie called me to make a maternity appointment she was beyond rude throughout the conversation, but I understand it’s the end of the day on a Friday so I wasn’t worried, when she thought she had hung up she began to discuss me with a coworker and then referred to me as “a stupid girl” because she could not find me in the system.

Obviously I called back to make a complaint and was transferred back to Julie who blatantly lied and said she was talking about another patient (which to be honest is even more disgusting that you would lie and say that that is how you speak about other patients).

In the end her treatment towards me was so aggressive and snapped at me “well there is nothing I can do, I’ve said I was sorry” (she did not apologise!) and then hung up on me!!!!

I am currently drafting a formal complaint and obviously expect for there to be severe repercussions, but think that all potential and present patients should be aware, this is how Julie speaks about us after she thinks she has hung up the phone!!!!!

Absolutely shocked at the treatment from a Dr here, the nursing staff are are great, but sitting there in absolute agony, as I have for the passed week & thinking I’d at least get some kind of advice or help for the excruciating pain in my hip & leg, I’ve had for a while now, but I was kidding myself… Dr. Wang took one look at me, didn’t ask what was the problem or what was wrong, just straight up said to me… “I can’t give you opioids or any other painkillers, cause your a new patient 🤔🙄 excuse me, I may not live in Colac anymore, I’m still not a new patient though, I used to come to this Dr’s clinic whilst I lived here & still have a record!!! Now travelling back to Geelong for another hospital trip, Dr. Wang, ya should not make assumptions about ppl without speaking to the patient first & asking, what seems to be the problem today or even just have a bit of poise about ya self when speaking to patients, yes patients look messy or unkempt when they come to the Dr’s yeah, they obviously not gonna look a million bucks or like they just get come from a fashion show aye 🙄😉 so considering you obviously don’t know everything, ya shouldn’t judge a book by its cover!!! How rude of you to speak to me in a way that’s left me feeling uncomfortable & unsure…

On my last visit the doctor I saw had absolutely no empathy. I only went in for a prescription, but had a bit of a meltdown after a issues with work, and he laughed all the way through the visit. The good doctors have huge waiting lists for a reason. Certainly won't be seeing that idiot again. Should be a minimum standard of English, too. How the older people deal with the accents, I have no idea. Dangerous when medications are concerned. I could only understand half of what was said.

I am not sure what happened with those bad reviews but the team is great.
They fitted me in at the earliest emergency spot and got seen by a GP as soon as I walked in. All of them are so polite and helpful. Thank you team again.
