Outstanding service and cannot thank the Doctor Kulasekara for what he did for me. I can finally see things and no longer need glasses for driving etc. Since seeing Dr Kulasekara my eyes are night and day better. I have not felt this good in many many years. Have just had cataracts removed from both eyes at the Darwin Private Hospital by Dr. Susith Kulasekara, and have had an excellent result. Nowhere near as traumatic as I thought it might be, and I now see perfectly. What a difference this has made to my quality of life! Highly recommend this practice - efficient and professional, but also friendly and able to put a nervous patient at ease.

I would strongly recommend Darwin Eye Surgeons and in particular Dr Kulasekara. I had a difficult situation with my left eye with a previous cornea transplant and sporting injury and a developing cataract. The doctor provided an excellent outcome restoring vision when I thought I would never have decent vision out of my left eye.
Dr Susith including Mandy and his team were very professional, considered patient care as a high priority and kept us very well informed and explained the difficult nature of my surgery carefully. I couldn’t be happier with the excellent outcome and experience in dealing with Darwin Eye Surgeons.

Both eyes needed cataract replacement. After 60 years requiring glasses and or contacts the surgery has been a blessing. I cannot recommend Dr Kulasekara and Darwin Eye Surgeons staff highly enough. Professional, efficient and kind. Thank you.

Good luck trying to get through reception. I found reception staff to be rude and unhelpful. Called to make an appointment but was told that referral had to be emailed through and uploaded to their systems and that they would call me a few days later once it was uploaded to make the appointment. Followed up after not hearing from anyone and was advised that it had gone to the spam/junk folder and had therefore not been actioned. They would try to upload it within a day or two for me. Such a ridiculous system. When it did finally get uploaded they informed me the referral was to another eye specialist and that they wouldn’t accept it. What a waste of a week.

For years I used eye drops for glaucoma and in addition my vision deteriorated because of cataract. In January this year I had an appointment with Dr Susith Kulasekara at RDH to get another opinion for my eye problems. Dr Susith is very friendly and during the examination he thoroughly explained my eye situation. He then suggested to do surgery for cataract and glaucoma in one procedure for each eye. I agreed and the operations were successful done. Now after some months I'm happy and thankful for the outcome of the surgery. I would recommend Dr Susith very highly. He is competent and professional and I felt comfortable as his patient .

Cannot describe the feeling of being able to see properly again,pre op staff are on the ball,straight up making you relaxed,the aniththiest cracked me up with his attitude and needle making me relax even more,great guy,thank you, Dr susith,you are a legend to me from now on.your words were what I needed to hear,your skill is beyond many, many others,thank you sir and all your staff for doing what you all did. After a referral from my Optometrist for cataract surgery I found dealing with reception to be very difficult and boarding on just plan rude. Being a customer I got the feeling that they were doing me a favour.
In frustration I had them done in Melbourne interestingly about 60% cheaper than here in Darwin.
Granted I was going to Melbourne anyway so travel costs were not a considerations.
