My partner was initially refered to this chiropractor clinic by his GP, since he booked his first appointment, he has been recieving mutiple annoying phone calls & messages from the clinic staff, kept forcing him to rescheduling the appointment time again & again. My partner finally had to cancel the appointment. Not recommend this chiropractor clinic at all!

I'm usually not one to critique local businesses, but I feel compelled to share my frustratingly humorous experience with this particular place. It's not my intention to place blame, as what doesn't work for one might work for others. Around 3-4 months ago, I was struggling with intense low back pain—a recurring issue for me that typically subsides after a few massage sessions. Being relatively new to Darwin, I turned to Google to find a reputable physiotherapy clinic, only to discover that most were fully booked. That's when a colleague recommended a chiropractic practice.

Excited to possibly find relief, I booked an appointment for the following day. Upon arrival, I was asked to wait for 15-20 minutes before being escorted to the doctor's office. After explaining my complaint of sharp low back pain, the doctor suggested we start with an x-ray. Surprisingly, he took over 20 x-ray shots, primarily of my neck, and told me to return the next week for a discussion on the findings, which would be compiled in a report from an external provider. I found it odd that my low back pain wasn't addressed or even discussed further that day.

For my follow-up appointment, I was again asked to wait. This time, I was handed an iPad loaded with a 20-minute animated video explaining their holistic approach. As someone educated in social psychology, I was skeptical of their marketing tactics and largely skipped the video. My patience waned; it seemed they were more interested in biding time than addressing my pain. Eventually, the "doctor" appeared, leading me to his office. Without preamble, he turned on a TV to display neck x-rays, inquiring what I saw and how it compared to some pictures on the wall—an approach I found bizarre and unprofessional for a medical setting. My frustration peaked when he dodged my direct inquiry about how he could help with my low back pain, pivoting instead to discuss costs. The proposed treatment plan, surprisingly for my neck, amounted to thousands of dollars, including chiropractic adjustments, exercises, and a special pillow for home use.

I questioned the absence of the promised x-ray report and the relevance of my neck in this context, especially since my initial complaint was my low back. He responded ambiguously, implying the discussion itself served as the 'report.' It was then I realized the gravity of their misdirection. I had never sought treatment for my neck; my concern was strictly my low back pain. To add insult to injury, I've dealt with neck issues and undergone numerous treatments and x-rays since I was nine, under the careful watch of a neurosurgery clinic due to a diagnosed condition. It was clear to me that Chiropractic Life had not only disregarded my specific health needs but also attempted to exploit my situation for financial gain.

Their website's small disclaimer—suggesting a referral elsewhere if they can't help—seemed a hollow promise in light of their actions. Confronted with this realization, I expressed my decision to leave, unable to trust their expertise or intentions. In the end, my search for relief from low back pain led me to a practice more interested in a financial windfall than providing genuine medical care, leaving me both amused and disheartened by the ordeal.

Saw Dr Kara yesterday about fixing my posture and lessening tension headaches which have gotten worse over time. She was very helpful with breaking down the information for it to make sense. After an adjustment my neck feels better and more relaxed than it's felt in years. She was obviously passionate about good back health, which has confirmed I've come to the right place to combat my issues.

Chiropractic life has been a well spent expense for myself and baby. I’ve been taking my 7m old since he was 4m and I’m amazed how much it has helped him. He used to suffer from colic, reflux and feeding however over the last few months these issue have resolved and he no longer struggles. I am also impressed with how much it has changed my body for the better, I’ve suffered with carpal tunnel for a very long time. I had been told I required surgery on both wrist, since attending my appointments and follow instructions within a couple months I no longer feel any pain. The service is great, your greeted once arriving, wait time is no longer then 5mins unless communicated otherwise. I would highly recommend Chiropractic life to anyone that is in need of a healthy lifestyle change and wants to feel and move better.

The best chiropractic service I have been too. I had been suffering with shoulder/ neck pain for almost 6 years, had been to osteopath, Physio, the whole lot and nothing helped until I came here and started seeing Dr. Aaron. An absolute miracle working! Not to mention the ladies & gent working the front counter are wonderful! It’s always so nice to walk in and be greeted by a friendly face who knows your name and you can always have a laugh with them! 10/10 highly recommended!
