What a wonderful service the RFDS does for people of the outback.

The museum at Alice provides an interactive overview of the history and current operations of the RFDS. The movie and 3D googles were exceptionally well presented.

I loved looking at the medical kits from the past in the museum.

Loved our tour here. The wonderful staff were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the little vid at the start. My favourite was the virtual experience. You can choose to watch the nurse view or the pilot view. So good. Also a lovely experience to actually step into the plane on display at the facility. Highly Recommended to every visitor to Alice. Spend some money in the souvenir shop to help raise funds

Fascinating place to visit, with some excellent exhibits, Holographic film presentation and Virtual Reality goggles.
Also a great place to shelter from the rain that rarely comes to Alice Springs 😀

There are only positive things to say regarding the RFDS. An essential service that covers over one million square kilometres. Take a tour or just roam the museum for a truly remarkable historical journey. There's a gift shop & neat, tasty kiosk outside. Be sure to make a donation to a very worthy cause. Enjoy!
