Staff turnover is so high at this organisation that they could use the energy output from the revolving door to power an entire city.

Let me give you $50,000 of consultancy advice for free: it’s easier to retain staff if you treat them with the most basic level of courtesy. No, ignore that advice and keep shooting the messenger and blaming the canary for dying in the coal mine. It’s the canary’s fault for not keeping up with the challenging work environment.

This review has been edited from the 5 stars it was 3 years ago to 1 star now. Why?

Well, management of the overall council group that the health service was a part of changed and they decided to get rid of the much loved General Manager of Health and also the Primary Health Manager too. Over the next few month many more staff who had been working both for council and health service left of their own accord or were shunted out too.

The organisation is a shell of its former self and the current management are hugely corrupt, nasty pieces of work, who have been having to pay out tens of thousands (soon to be hundreds of thousands I expect before the end of next year) in bullying and unfair dismissal claims. The remaining people working there are mostly just there because they don't yet have alternative work to go to yet I expect, though some people potentially are either oblivious to, or worse complicit in, what is happening there.

The CEO and his acolytes should be ashamed of themselves, and I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of them end up in jail over the highly dodgy things they have been up to over the past year.

Do not go to work here if you can avoid it. It's a shame for the people of the Ngaanyatjarra lands what has happened, I only hope they can gather themselves together, unite, and purge these unscrupulous entities from their lives.

12/12/2020 I worked for NG health for 2 years in Warakurna. Thr management there are very supportive and attentive to needs of a RAN.. i look forward to working with them again. Thanks jase for the 55inch TV haha.

Update 26/07/2022 - still great to work for except jase only hooked me up with 40 inch tv this time
