Sydney Eye Surgeons Miranda, is a very professional and welcoming practice. All staff are attentive, helpful and extremely efficient with time management. We never had to wait for appointments and staff were very knowledgeable and answered all our concerns in detail. Dr Hamilton is a very caring, approachable surgeon and achieved remarkable outcomes for both my husband and myself with our cataract surgery, which was also a very smooth, easy process. We highly recommend Sydney Eye Surgeons, Miranda.

Referred to Dr Alex Hamilton due to other ophthalmologist unwilling to take on procedure for cataract and lens replacement due to possible difficulties due to previous laser treatment on eyes years ago.
Dr Hamilton at Miranda Sydney Eye surgeons was able after tests to confirm he could with confidence deliver exactly the lenses I wanted, plus cataract removal meaning I no longer would need glasses again.
The staff were really helpful, the appointment times always on time, and Dr Hamilton was great at explaining the procedure, booking me in for surgery in two weeks from my first appointment for my right eye, and two weeks later my left eye.
Surgery away quick, painless and Dr Hamilton was super professional in his care and treatment solution.
My eyes were both non problematic post op and both eyes were 20/20 vision within two weeks.
I cannot praise the staff at Dr Hamiltons rooms, the hospital staff and most importantly Dr Hamilton for his friendly demeanour, his ability and professional skill enough. I am thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend Dr Hamilton and his team for eye surgery.

I recently had PRK Laser with Doctor Hamilton! The experience was so quick and less pain than I anticipated. Dr Hamilton is so attentive and is a call away if you ever need anything. Felt super reassured and comfortable with the whole procedure. I recommend DR Hamilton to anyone!

Was close to 1hr after my scheduled appointment time before I was seen by the Doctor.

Got charged more in tests than the actual cost of the consult. Moreover, the tests were repeats of ones I had as part of my referral so seemed a bit excessive. The argument was to have a baseline, but the referring optometrist already provided these! Left a sour taste in my mouth!

I made it clear to the Technician I didn’t find it necessary but they said the Doctor wanted them. When I saw the Doctor it looked like they were opening the referral for the first time so I am annoyed about the charges (most of which have no Medicare rebate!).

I got the PRK method because of my dry eyes from Dr Alex Hamilton. It has been 4 weeks since the eye surgery and I can happily say I now have 20/20 vision! The surgery itself was super quick and pain free. I'm really happy with the results!
