Dr Murtaza Jamnagerwalla deserves all his 5 star reviews and if not more. Not only is he a great Surgeon but a very nice guy that has empathy and a great sense of humour which puts you at ease as soon as you meet him. He came in everyday after my operation even on the weekends. His caring nature and lack of arrogance is what makes him such a great Doctor/Surgeon.

Dr Jamnagerwalla is professional, empathetic and a fantastic surgeon who instilled confidence along with kindness and a laugh. He came highly recommended from my gastroenterologist and many friends and colleagues.
I consulted with him twice, when faced with a significant polyp disorder that required me to elect to have major surgery.
The time he took to answer our questions and help us make a difficult decision was not only informative but comforting.
His expertise is well regarded in the medical field and he is also a lovely man.
I can honestly say the decision to have my surgery was far worse than the actual surgery itself. His staff are also extremely helpful, understanding and empathetic.
Our daughter is now having a surgery with him and he is honestly like a highly skilled friend.

When we arrived at their office after a painful 3 hour drive, he took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all of my questions with patience and kindness.

What truly impressed me was his prompt response to my emergency situation. I was fortunate enough they had a cancellation and I was able to see him within 3 days of my initial phone call.

He not only saw me quickly but also took the time to thoroughly examine me and develop a personalized plan to address my needs on the spot. He made a few calls and had me rushed into surgery 1 hour later.

If you are looking for a well respected Surgeon with exceptional skills and knowledge, great bed side manner then this is the practice for you. From the moment I met Dr Jamnagerwalla he made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The whole process was explained in such detail so I was less anxious about having surgery. On the day of my surgery I was super anxious and after being met with a smile and reassured I would be ok it made such a difference. My recovery was exception and the care I received was like no other. I would also like to mention his incredible admin staff who also went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I recently had surgery done by Dr Murtaza Jamnagerwalla of Southside Surgical. The practice has a friendly, helpful staff and is located conveniently in Miranda NSW. Dr Jamnagerwalla is a kind, caring surgeon who immediately makes you feel at ease and comfortable when discussing medical options and courses of action. I found him to be an outstanding surgeon who explained the operation I was having, the expected convalescence and the best way to manage my recovery. The hospital nursing staff where I had my operation spoke very highly of him. He spoke at length with me both before and after my operation and personally rang my wife informing her of my condition while I was in recovery. The follow up visits were professional yet felt like a meeting with a good friend. Dr Murtaza Jamnagerwalla fixed a long term problem I have lived with for years and I couldn't be happier. I have recommended Dr Murtaza Jamnagerwalla to friends and would recommend him anyone who needs the type of surgery he specialises in.
