I wanted to share my appreciation for the care and service I received at your medical practice. On arrival the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor we saw demonstrated a high level of expertise but also took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thorough explanations, ensuring that I felt comfortable and informed throughout my visit. She was also able reassure my nervous kids, she provided a lovely balance of medical care with being funny and gentle.
I highly recommend this medical practice. Thanks for making my visit so positive and reassuring.

I saw doctor Monica Fahmy few days ago about my condition and she straight away understood me and made the necessary tests .. my visit at Ashby MC was straight forward.. the receptionist was lovely . The place is immaculate and lovely .. I would recommend it

I have nothing but praise for Ashby Medical Centre, Receptions are extremely helpful.Our Dr Adrian Lo is caring and extremely professional, my previous doctor Dr Martel was a hard act to follow, Dr Lo a wonderful replacement, always has a smile and you never feel like just a number, he doesn’t rush you thru your appointment, and treats you with respect. Cannot fault this practice.

I was a little nervous going to a new Dr (esp given some of the reviews here) but needed some vaccinations that my regular Dr does not offer.

What a fabulous experience though!

From the ease of getting an appointment at a time that suited me, to the reception person being friendly, informative and clear about the costs and time needed for the appointment.

Dr Monica Fahmy was fabulous (my receipt says she is a locum - you should snap her up permanently). Informative, relaxed, friendly, good sense of humour. She was also really clear about all the vax and had the information to hand to confirm I was not missing any necessary vax.

And then the team doing the vax were similarly professional and friendly. I dread needles but they were fast and efficient.

I would happily come here regularly and will certainly do so any time my regular Dr is unavailable.

1) the older reception staff are obnoxious & rude
2) if your lucky you can book an appointment within 24 hours of making a phone call. However its quite often up to 48 hours, at a time I'm not available, meaning, 3 days before I can get an appointment.
3) Most of the doctors are good, however they rotate there staff so often, you will quiet often get a new doctor on your next visit.
4) They don't bulk bill which I don't mind, however for poor service, I consider it disgusting.

It can be hard to get in for appointment but it is a really well run practice with great drs.
I've left as I've moved out of area and I miss Dr Hu sooooo much. He is such a lovely family doctor and was a great support to myself and my daughter as a baby. He's also the only Dr I have ever had who would call me to follow up and check in. I

Doctors are excellent.
Reception staff often have an unhelpful attitude, or just an "attitude". At different times (last year and this year) I have been unable to receive copies of my own lab results and, recently, a referral that was allegedly emailed to me several times was not received.

Replying to the owners response, you should have done a bit of investigation first before responding. It's not too late to do so now.

My results have been reviewed by my doctor and he undertook to email both the results and the referral to me, as did Liam. The consultation was over the phone so I was not physically present receive any documentation. I can confirm I still don't have the referral as I write now. If ensuring an email is sent after several (claimed) attempts to send is beyond Liam's capabilities, you may need to provide him some support and training.

If you intend to continue providing a telehealth service, you also have to be able to reliably issue the various documents, such as referrals, that would normally be handed directly to the patient. It defies belief that sending an email is too hard. If it is the case that an email cannot be successfully sent, you will have to consider using the postal service.
