You pay for a private hospital experience, but they are so rude it may as well have been a huge public hospital. No social skills in communicating with patients whatsoever. Receptionist called my pick-up person and hung up on him when he answered and said no-one was there. I had to phone him myself and he was already there waiting downstairs and he had answered his phone, but she hung up. Nurse put my bandage on so tight it was hurting more than the operation wound and I was unable to get another nurse or doctor to adjust it. I was told all the doctors had gone home and this was only 1.00 pm. Nurse wearing false eyelashes in operating theatre, glad I wasn't having open heart surgery. Unprofessional and appalling. Just nauseating. I only had day surgery but would never consider going to this hospital for anything more involved. In fact, I refuse to go to this hospital ever again.

The ward nursing staff were great, very easy going, jovial, polite, well mannered and down to earth whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. They are good at their jobs

The single rooms are well maintained and up to date

Nurses Tara and Julie are to receive a special mention as well as Sister Mamta for going above and beyond

Sister Emma is nice, friendly & professional too

Upon my entry to level 1 pre admissions i was met with friendly receptionists

β€’4 star room and room amenities
β€’Tea/coffee/biscuits & juice served at regular intervals

- Sorry for the negative part but i call things as i see them - Whilst i was still filling out my pre admission form one of the nurses came out to check on my progress to see if I'm ready to go in without saying anything to me except you have to have your mask on,i instantly thought here we go. My glasses were fogging up that's why i had it pulled down. We eventually went inside and she was seriously way over the top. Sanitising everything i touched, she even santised the pen i used and the arm band for the blood pressure machine after i used it. As we were then walking to get changed without asking or explaining she told me to pop my hand under here which was a dispenser, she should have asked and not told me. She even asked to see my covid test result after it was first emailed to them, then i presented it to reception upon arrival and she then asked to see it 5 minutes after showing the reception team (a total of 3 times prior to admission) She is one of the most programmed people i have encountered, totally brainwashed.

Dr. Yun Xu, specialist in Geriatric Medicine, was total lack of compassion and empathy during her treatment of my late father.
Under her treatment, my father condition took a worst turn.
Devastatingly, she completely ignored my father suffering from excruciating pain and made no attempt to seek any proper care treatment plan.
Worst of all, shockingly, she completely ignored to advise my father could have received palliative care in his critical condition despite seeing my father's torturous suffering during his last days.
She showed absolutely nothing, but coldness seeing my father's enormous pain during the treatment. Her treatment only intensively prolonged and drastically aggregate my father’s suffering till the end of his life.

This hospital experience was very poor for a private hospital.
They had a hard time providing any gluten free menu options. No gf snacks were offered with tea/coffee.Meals were very small.
Sheets only changed once in 5 day stay.
Poor definition of being closely monitored when there on an infusion and shut into my room and left for 8hrs without being checked upon when I was told there were potentially dangerous side effects to the drug I was receiving.

2nd time back in 4 months. Both times everything was perfect. Greeting, prep for surgery, nursing staff, surgeon and anaesthetic team, ward staff, cleaners and hospitality staff all amazing. Same friendly nursing staff working well as a team. I would highly recommend this hospital.

Very poor experience in getting information about a program. Not only was the woman who called me hard to understand but when I asked for clarification on the qualifications of the specialist, and who it was that runs the programs I was told "We can't give that information out." Very dodgy IMO.

The surgeon told me that my surgery date is the only date she is available to do, which is fine, however I asked to be booked at the latest possible time that day as I have an urgent meeting that I cannot skip at the university I go to. I was told that I should be fine to come in at 5pm that day (the earliest I could arrive) to be admitted.
So why has the admissions office now told me that I have to be there at 3:15pm or they will cancel my appointment? You are far too late to be telling me this. Why did the surgeon not know that I had to arrive earlier than the time I said I could make? If I had known this I would've used a different method or gone to a different place to get this complete!
NOT TO MENTION this is for a surgery that will take 45 MINUTES to do, why do I need to wait 3 HOURS for it to begin?
