The Nursing staff was absolutely uncaring and dismissive my wife went up during a mental health crisis (wanting to taker her own life) she thought by going up there she would receive some help well let me tell you nope she did not. The nurses brushed her off didnt watch her even though she was in the room opposite...she took 8 pills while under their "watch"
I'll be ringing them in the morning and making an official complaint.

Depends what staff are on at the time of your arrival. Took my daughter in many times within a 1 week period due to being sick. Finally after 3 trips they done a swab test. 2 days later she was back struggling to breathe and barely eating. They had received her results the day prior and didn't bother to let us know she had rsv. And with knowing her medical background you'd think they would have! Dr Chetan is always amazing with my girl. But the nurses need to pull it together and stop being so dismissive! You're almost better off driving the 2 hours to canberra, because wagga hospital is no better!

discussed young nurse refused to let my partner see a doctor , had to go to hospital management , and was told to bring her in. she has health issues yes ,pain yes. return to emgency, around 4pm , waited 2 hrs then nurse came out with a card saying she book appointment with a local doc on 1 feb .this didn't help my partner with pain or mental health . and if we still wanted to see a doctor, it would be a long wait. think is was more an payback for going to management .lost all faith in the nursing system and my mother was a Nursing Sister ,my nice is a nurse , even she was shocked .

I went to Young Hospital ER yesterday in a lot of pain and the Triage Nurses and all the nurses plus Dr Hasan was absolutely the best service I have had from a hospital since I have been in NSW. They go beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I was in anxiety and a lot of pain . I want to thank the Young ER nurses that was working at about 4:00. I wish Wagga Hospital had suck amazing nurses!! Thank you for caring about the patient and there painful needs

Presented to Young hospital late Christmas eve night with a sick child and nurses were attentive. Understandably there was a small wait but nurses gave my child the best possible care.

Yesterday I went to the Emergency Department because I had a suspected broken bone in my ankle. I was triaged straight away, had X rays, assessed and home within 2 hours - spectacular service! Thank you so much for your fast and efficient help.

Wish o could give 0 stars. Negligent staff, ignore patients concerns. Send away patients with serious conditions without any investigation unless you push and demand testing, yell at you, rude, treat you horrible, and then threaten to contact child protection services when you’re not happy with care and want to discharge to get a second opinion from a quality health care provider. Worst hospital!
