My father recently had a pacemaker procedure performed by Prof. Chik at Specialist Services Westmead, and the care we received was truly exceptional. Prof. Chik’s professionalism, attention to detail, and expertise were nothing short of life-saving. He took the time to explain every step clearly, and his genuine care made an incredibly difficult time much easier for our family.

The support team deserves just as much praise. Kym, Prof. Chik’s receptionist, has been wonderful in organising appointments, and even went the extra mile by taking care of my 2.5-year-old during one consultation so I could fully focus on what Prof. Chik was explaining to my father. Her kindness and helpfulness are rare and greatly appreciated.

Viki from the bookings team has also been fantastic. She ensured we could quickly reach Prof. Chik when we needed clarifications about my father’s medications after surgery. Her efficiency and dedication made everything run smoothly, easing much of the stress for our family.

I highly recommend Prof. Chik and his incredible team at Specialist Services Westmead for anyone seeking top-notch heart care. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail truly made all the difference.

I spoke to Renee about my situation she was very rude and condescending and at the end of the call hang up on me. If this is the way you treat your patients then I'm afraid your stuff need to be retrained on phone manner. I'm so upset about this situation and invite a manager to talk to me.
