The doctor was great. I have no problems with her it was the filthy state of the carpet and Lino tiles in waiting area I object to. There is a layer of dirty floor wax over the tiles and the carpet hasn’t been steamed clean in ages. I have been going to this practice for years and the floor was always clean. I felt ashamed that the safe place I go to when I’m not well was so dirty. Ocher now owns the practice, are they trying to increase their profits by reducing the quality of the cleaning? I don’t know. They should open their wallet and fix the problem without charging the doctors working there for the cost, because if they do I fear the cost of an appointment will go up?

The doctor’s way behind but there was no reminder for people to come in later and the reception didn’t tell people either. Had to wait for more 1.5 hours to see the doctor. It was fine if they were running behind but giving some notice would be much appreciated.

From waiting times over half an hour to an hour passed the appointment time constantly, to calling in the wrong patient and making me wait without apology, to being incorrectly diagnosed (was told I had Vertigo when it was a brain tumor)....this place is so incompetent I'm shocked they're allowed to operate. Most GP's at the practice don't seem too concerned with fixing problems, just prescribing drugs and sending you away without consideration as to what the problem actually is. Zero duty of care. If I'd taken their advice and not gone to a different GP, I'd possibly be brain dead or dead. Utterly disgraceful.

Dr Lakshika Wijemanne is so professional and very up to date with all the new medical updates for babies and toddlers. She is knowledgeable and trustworthy, my def go-to doctor in town for any family med matters. I have been seeing her since week 6 of my pregnancy and all the way til postnatal and beyond. I always feel so lucky that we accidentally went to her from the beginning. Highly recommend to any mum or families!

I cannot get over how Ochre have neglected the place. The carpet and lino needs seriously clean or replacing... I have been going there for about 15 years and its never been this bad... PLEASE CLEAN THE SURGERY FOR HYGENIC SAKE!!!!!!!!

We booked an appointment through Hotdoc for 11:40 am and we were there 5 mins before the appointment.

Waited there for 30 mins, went to the desk and asked if the doc is here yet and got a response that she is running a LITTLE late and it will take 20 more mins.

So in their books wasting someone's 50 mins to an hour is not a big deal and this is considered a LITTLE late.

We have scheduled an appointment at 4.00 pm with Dr Lakshika Wikemanna Mobittige Dona, and we reached there on time. After checking with the receptionist multiple times, the doctor asked to come inside at 5.15 pm. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes outside. Spent 10 - 15 minutes with the doctor and then they charged us $110.00 (including Ochre regulatory and compliance feeof $7.00).
Do not recommend and do not waste your time booking this place!
