They have helped me remain stable for over a year. They have helped me get my life back in small steps, and for that I'll be grateful for the rest of my life. They have given not only my family, but dozens of other families hope and encouragement. Oasis provides psychiatry, therapy, group support, and family therapy. I was in psychosis for 3 months, and my family didn't know what was happening to me. When we found Oasis I was finally able to breathe for the first time since psychosis happened. I was in and out of delusions for the months and Oasis has helped me manage those delusions. It may not be perfect, but is anywhere really perfect? That's for you to decide.

I'm sure this place provides good service to the people it is able to help, so I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1.
My husband has been struggling with his mental health for a long time. After moving, and several years without a therapist, he decided it was time to reach out (this was a big step). He saw a psychologist in Chapel Hill who thought my husbands troubles were outside of his area of expertise, so he recommended this clinic to my husband. We were also recommended this clinic by a psychologist my husband saw where we used to live. My husband called and tried to make an appointment, however since he has been experiencing symptoms for more than 3 years they would not see my husband. I know this is a clinic for young adults with recent psychosis, but my husband is only 24. My husband asked if they could recommend someone who would be able to help him, and they said no. I think they should have a list of similar providers in the area for this situation. We're have been looking and looking and have found no one who can help. After this phone call my husband felt helpless, and like life was pointless. I don't think this is the way someone should be left feeling after they get off the phone with a mental healthcare provider.
