Did the residential stay with my 3 month old twins (6 weeks adjusted) to try and get help on their sleeping and the smaller twins feeding fussiness. The nurses were great and super friendly but ultimately could only recommend trying different teats and bottles which didn’t make sense for us both financially or logistically being twins and all.
The venue is brand new so a nice place to stay but I just don’t think it’s equipped for twin families as the layout doesn’t allow for it which is weird considering the video on the website stars a dad and his twins. I say this mainly because:
1. Dinner is strictly between 5-6pm which is our twins bed time. You can’t have any monitors in their crib room so someone has to be in the room at all times with them when they nap/sleep. This means you and your partner have to take turns going to the dining area for meals while the other tries to get them down or watches them til they go fast asleep. This is even worse because you cannot eat in the rooms so it’s not like you can just go get the food and take it back to eat when you can.
2. You need to have a paediatrician write a letter to be able to use owlet socks? We used them anyway because I honestly don’t see why an oxygen and heart rate monitor wouldn’t be permitted.
3. The kitchen with the dishwashing facilities and sterilised water is down the hall so to wash dishes you still have to take turns with your partner as you can’t hear the babies that far away without monitors.
4. As there is no fridge in the rooms you can’t store milk in your room and you have to put your breast milk in a shared EBM fridge which is sketchy in my opinion. Just strangers having unmonitored access to peoples EBM shouldn’t be allowed.
5. You have to lock up all medications and so if you have medication that needs a fridge it gets locked in an office you can’t access and need a nurse to fetch.
6. There is no sterilising facilities provided so you have to bring your own BUT it can only be the microwave type ones nothing bulky or electrical. If you have twins you know after a night you have as much as 6-8 bottles needing to be washed (unless you did a load at 3am ?) so you likely have a fridge type steriliser or a big steriliser.. you can’t use it so take a few microwave bags and get ready to do 6-10 trips to the microwave in the communal kitchen down the hall when you get time..
7. There is no tvs anywhere which I get because this isn’t a holiday and kids shouldn’t watch tv blah blah blah whatever… but when the twins went to bed at 6ish til the 10pm feed you’re confined to your room so you just sit there on your phone or laptop because what else can you do..

We were charged $420 for my partner to stay the 4 nights which we questioned a couple days later after realising that’s a lot of money considering what you get and they said the receptionist didn’t note it down so there’s no record of the payment now I’m waiting for accounts to contact me still a week later to issue a refund (it was only meant to be $200 and something). Lucky we didn’t pay cash or there would be no paper trail on that one.

There were good things, the views are amazing and yes the chef and his food are good as the other reviews suggest. The lunches are always a bit of fruit/veg and a wrap or sandwich with soup. The dinners varied but were always tasty. Healthy portions and selection. Coffee machine had no milk and had to be cleaned the 2 days we stayed so didn’t really use the machine. And there was never any juice the time we were there. I really liked their GP she was very knowledgeable and friendly. I think it’s a great facility for maybe singleton families, people with no routine or idea how to care for a baby or read their cues, or people extremely struggling at home. but I personally just found I had more support at home with my parents helping and so I did get something positive from tresillian… I realised home isn’t that bad, I’m not doing that bad as a parent and that it could always be worse.

The location was amazing. It's hard to go for walks with a double pram because there are so many hills, but it's beautiful.

The facilities are really nice and new and the view is amazing. The food is especially great and Rakesh, the chef, was brilliant. He really took care of us always checked in on what the boys liked and didn't like and tailored their meals slightly. His cooking for the adults was also delicious and there was an amazing variety of food. He was truly amazing, very friendly and kind. The admin staff are also great, especially the lady with pink hair (I'm so sorry I have forgotten your name). She was very helpful and very comforting and understanding.

The reason I gave 4 stars was because the nursing staff was friendly but they all just suggested one method over and over.
I kept telling them that I have twins and that the babies sleep in the same room but they insisted on separating them until the last night, when there was really not point in trying something new. I asked several times if there was any other methods they could teach us for twins or in general and they said they would get back to me and nobody did. In saying this, they were all still very nice and friendly. They were all still very helpful and kind. They were really under the pump and there were only 3 nurses on at a time so I get they were busy.

I would come back again if I need to and would definitely recommend the facility.

The staff are all so lovely and patient, location is amazing and facilities brand new, cleaner and nicer than many hotels I’ve stayed at, plus they offer on demand support for you and your baby. Healthy chef cooked meals too. Highly recommend if you need any support throughout parenthood!

Very disappointed with Tresillian. I was recommended this device by a respected GP as I was (and still am) having problems with my daughter’s diet.
After a very lengthy phone consult approximately 2- 3 months ago, I was told I would hear back within a week on the progress of my application and the next steps.

Weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything. Finally about a week ago I got an offer of a virtual consult asking if I was available the very next day, on a Tuesday at 1pm.
Considering both my partner and I had made it clear during the initial consult that we work full time and would prefer a weekend appointment, that was pretty disappointing.
When my partner replied to the text asking for a weekend consult instead please, we never heard back.

Tresillian is meant to be a service for families who are desperate for urgent help with their children but unless you’re prepared to wait weeks and have availability at random times of the day during the week, would not recommend

Tresillian is amazing. I was admitted to their 4 night program and it helped with my newborn settling and rhythm so much. I left feeling much more confident in knowing my baby’s needs. The nurses are very lovely and attentive, and the facilities are brand new and very nice. Would highly recommend to parents if they need help with their baby.

We are extremely grateful for the incredible care and support we received during our residential stay at Tresillian Wollstonecraft. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and professionalism.

The nurses went above and beyond to teach and help us implement effective strategies. A special thank you to Allison, Bec, Rose and Fiona for their advice, encouragement, compassion and genuine care.

Tresillian centre is a one of those centres where the Nurses will make sure that you have a comfortable stay with you Bub and will plan your everyday to reach the Goal you have opt-in for.
For our case, it somewhat helped, as in 4 days you can’t change everything. This is an ongoing process, and you go back with more skills and learnings to use in your everyday to make your life easier with your Bub in terms of Feed and Sleep.

Atmosphere: Wonderful
Support Staff: Wonderful
Stay: Wonderful
Location: Convenient
Food: Wonderful. Would like to mention, Rakesh, who is the main cook and making wonderful meals every day, and make sure everyone is fed as per their demands.
