I have been a patient of Dr. Merchant for 12 years, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate, always taking the time to diagnose any issue and explains thoroughly! His genuine care and attention is a rare find, and I always feel confident in his advice. It's not surprising that he was named most outstanding GP in Australia, in 2021. The practice is also supported by Mary, the receptionist, who is always helpful and friendly.

Dr. Merchant is the best GP I've ever been to. He's been my son's GP for five years and in that time has helped him manage his asthma and allergies so well that he is now off medication. He has helped me with multiple ongoing conditions and got them all under control. He's kind, empathic and really listens. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Always satisfied completely with Dr Merchant & my consultations. A dedicated physician who goes beyond most to ensure every avenue is pursued for correct treatment/diagnosis.
Professional with a good natured humour is a great blend.
Medical receptionist Mary is efficient,
hard working, kind, empathetic & always helpful with a lovely personable manner & humour too.
Always able to call ahead of time to be advised of my appointment place as due to Dr Merchants complete care package with every single patient, at times he is delayed, but it is a small price to pay & i definitely would not go elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr Merchant for around 6 years after being reccomended to him by my mum who is also his patient. My husband and children also see Dr Merchant. We live in Penrith and travel to see Dr merchant in Springwood because I know i can trust that he will investigate medical issues thouroughly and that he looks at the whole medical history instead of just the presenting issue. As a Registered Nurse and a Mum I can say that Dr Merchant is the best GP i have seen. He has helped my family tremendously. Also his receptionist is lovely !
