I can’t believe how well I’ve been treated in this place. I have made such a turnaround and it’s due to the efforts of the staff. I did ECT for the first time and found it challenging but they helped me through it.

This place is like a 4-star hotel. I never got sick of the food. The outdoor area actually has some trees and is quite relaxing. It’s a smaller complex and has a more homely feel than other places I’ve stayed. Basically had a personal trainer because there were so few people at the gym.

I wish some of the group therapy could be less theoretical but this is pretty standard from staying in a few places.

God forbid I am ill in future, I know where I’ll be checking for availability first.

Not even worth 1 star! I had my initial assessment which was $760. In this appointment I should have received a diagnosis. Instead he needed to “think” about it more and booked me in for a Telehealth in a couple weeks. I paid the full cost off my assessment (even though I receive not diagnosis) Dr Liang wrote my appointment time down on the back of another patients script showing their name address and medications and handed it to me. The receptionist then stapled a list of all the appointments listed for another doctor in the practice for the following day showing all of their names contact numbers and health funds! The day comes of my Telehealth appointment the receptionist calls to push my appointment back and asked if I wanted to pay now or when the doctor calls me. To my absolute shock as no extra cost was ever disclosed to me. I had then rightly assumed the cost would be covered under the cost of my initial consultation as I am still a new patient and didn’t receive the outcome I should have when attending the office because he needed to “think” more. The cost was $450, I explained I was never told there was a cost for this appointment and the receptionist said I can’t comment on that and if I chose to cancel I’d have to pay $200 cancellation fee. They take advantage of vulnerable people it’s absolutely disgusting. Not to mention so unprofessional carelessly handing documents to patients of other patients personal details. Not discussing any fees. Save your money and Do your research! Clearly this company is a money grab and actually don’t care for your mental health.

SECOND EDIT: FYI - If you want to make a real complaint, please google the Health Industry Ombudsman. Each complaint must be investigated By this Independent Governing Body. Each investigation is charged to Ramsay Clinic. Enough Complaints filed, the facility will be fined hundreds of thousands of $$'s, and lose licenses. Let's get together to make a positive change in 2025. This facility is Corrupt.

FIRST EDIT: This is my Fault. I didn't read the reviews before attending this Facility. I was desperate for treatment. This place has a policy of being dismissive and gaslighting patients. BEWARE. READ REVIEWS FIRST.

This Facility is NOT a rehabilitation. It is an Extended Detox and Mental Health Facility. They do not support you holistically or long term. This is an EXTENDED DETOX ONLY. I spent time with 3 people who had visited this facility over 20 times. I swear to God not a word of a lie, they literally had their own favourite rooms and cups with their names on them. THIS PLACE DOES NOT HELP PEOPLE. ITS A DRUGGO HOTEL.

Had a horrible experience at this facility. The supporting staff are incredible (cooks, cleaners etc).

But the nurses. They were not up to date with my file, my medications or nutritional needs (stomach surgery). When I got upset and complained they called me aggressive. When I asked if I had a right to complain or be upset at their mistakes, they were very defensive.

They made several mistakes with my medications and nutritional needs. I had to complain to the head nurse to have this corrected, after a week of mistakes. Ironically it took ONE conversation and about 5 minutes with the Daytime NUM (Julie) to fix this. So confusing why the other nurse freaked out. She was just overwhelmed and had no idea how to do her job.

I lightly twisted my ankle, not even a sprain, and asked for basic first aid. I asked for some ibuprofen and an ankle wrap to support my ankle. I was told "No you'll have to speak to a doctor". It was 3pm in the afternoon. They called around the hospital and there was no doctor available. They made me walk on the twisted ankle for half a KM around this giant facility.

I got so fed up I walked out, on a sore ankle, to go to Woolworths and buy my own meds and ankle wrap. The Indian Nurse yelled he was calling the police. He got really offended when I laughed and left the hospital to get my own treatment.

When I returned I asked to speak to his Nursing Unit Manager. The Indian Weekend NUM on duty, supported his Negligent Indian Nurse and the Hopeless Indian Supervisor. The three of them literally lied and called the police to kick me out, claiming "I had a very aggressive tone". VERY Delicate Daisies. They outright colluded and lied.

It was quite frankly so unbelievable I didn't even make a Complaint. I just packed my things and left. I had 2 of the patients screaming at the staff that I had done nothing wrong, as 6 police officers aggressively escorted me from the premises.

This facility is negligent. Their nursing staff and Mental Health Coordinators/Educators (Her name was Rebecca) are seriously malicious. If you disagree with them, or point out their mistakes, you are a very aggressive violent person. You will NOT be looked after, you will NOT be safe. They WILL gaslight you. It WILL be your fault, you addicted mentally ill trouble maker, you.

If you do go, whatever you do, do not open your mouth. Don't disagree with them. Don't point out their mistakes or negligence. They will do and say ANYTHING to cover their butts. It was absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Please save your money and go elsewhere. About the only thing decent here is the coffee machine. And breakfast. Breakfast was AWESOME....and their coffee machine pisses black gold. Just brilliant.

I am genuinely surprised by the terrible reviews. My experience was pretty standard as far as specislist appointments go.

The psychiatrist is competent and knowledgeable, and the admin staff are fine.

I am an outpatient, so my experiences differ from those seeking inpatient treatment.

Please consider going somewhere else. There’s more drugs in Ramsay than out in the community. The staff don’t have the time of day to speak to you if you have issues and the psychiatrist keeps taking leave. It’s a really horrible place and I had zero support.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star! The receptionist seemed decent on our appointment but 8 months later she calls saying there’s an outstanding amount of $100 for a cancellation for an appointment (8 months ago) that we did not have and accused me of making up stories with my husband to get out of paying- DISGUSTINGLY RUDE. Second receptionist was just as bad I called asking for proof of the appointment which she did not have she was talking over me, had no written proof to show of the missed appointment that was missed and when I asked where is the email that says there was an appointment missed and this is the invoice she goes on to state that that’s not their protocol and that she could have one written up now I then went on to say that she could make one up and it should have been sent that day- I won’t ever deal with this clinic again

Worst doctor ever for 5 minutes he will cancel my appointment and charge me and I have to reschedule and pay again. He thinks he's the only doctor in this world playing around with people's lives must be very satisfying when you're a doctor instead of saving lives.
