The most unprofessional staff and breach of safety and protocols…

I understand it being the busy room, but below is the major points that are affected with patient privacy and safety….

No wonder why this collection room has got this low ratings…and I wonder how come Laverty has got this room under the doctor’s practice…..!!!

My experience:-

1) No patient privacy maintained- collection door was open throughout the blood collection process.

2) it was fasting bloods- no questioned asked about how many hours of fasting patient is doing.

3) No printed labels of patient details- not printed label of patient details and asked me to leave after the bloods collected, I have to ask her to print the label and stick on my bloods so that I can verify it..!!!

4) Other patient bloods were on the bench with just bar code and no labels…(being busy, she might do it later…but its a major breach, as its not just the bloods, its the patient life as based on the blood results you will be prescribe the medication….!)

5) The collector was not even wearing the name badge, or else I would have mentioned the name…

6) complete bullshit story- as per laverty policy they do send the blood result to patient if the doctors has mentioned on your referral…however, this young girl told that only CANCER results are being sent…!!!!

I hope this will be fixed at this room as this is completely not acceptable practice.

The collection centre is open from 9am - 5pm, which means I could attend at my convenience. I barely got my kindle out of my bag before my number was called. The entire experience was quick & simple.

I visited around 10.30 to 11.30 am on 15 April for a test. The person who did my test was extremely rude.I started bleeding and I asked her to redo the dressing since there was so much blood and she was rude to me telling me I did not press it properly rather than fixing the issue. This person clearly does not deserve to be in healthcare. Totally unprofessional. I would never come to this place for my blood test again. For anyone else who faces such issues in future, you can report to laverty on their number else report to hospital manager of the practice.

My experience here was awful. They took so long to take me in. Once they did they were moving around needles trying to find my vein. Eventually found it and I was telling them it was uncomfortable they did nothing until the point where there was no blood coming out and my arm was in serious pain they told me I would bruise. They then stuck on a cotton bud and tape and said you’re done.

Went in for a blood test. The clinic was spotlessly clean, reception was friendly and helpful. Waited less than five minutes and Maria was so good with the needle I didn't even know she'd stuck me with it! In and out in less than ten minutes, this experience is the gold standard that all pathology clinics should seek to attain! Will come again

Clueless and hopeless people. I visited the lab today and Viji attended to me. She had No idea what the doctor wrote for the test and researched for a while and didn’t know what to collect for the test. Asked me to wait until a senior comes to attend, who were busy with team meeting. I called up the doctor and he humorously clarified the test is quite simple to understand without going to a college ?. I had to step in and clarify this to do all the deposit and form filling myself. They didn’t even check my ID. Unbelievably hopeless. Get better folks.

They mostly open late in the morning. Happened 2/3 times with me. Today they opened 20 minutes late and it literally screwed my work schedule.
