I’ve attended this Medical practice for years and I have always been looked after. The doctors are all professional, friendly and very attentive to your needs.
I also want to say I have a phobia of needles and the nurse that draws blood has always catered to my needs. She is amazing and makes the experience fast and efficient.
Thank you Toongabbie Family Practice for all your amazing services.

After a few years living in Toongabbie and with this clinic, sometimes I have to ask myself why I had the patience to stay with them for this long. I moved my injection kit to this clinic since I was with Dr.Rubina. Every month I came in for same injection but the same everytime, noone has a clue and you have to be the one who gave them the instructions of what injection and what

I have been seeing Dr. Rubina Farhan for over 4 years now and she has been really sweet. However the wait time here is a pain. Despite appointment every time I come here I have to wait minimum an hour. This impacts my work schedule. Wait time of minimum 1 hr despite appointment on a week day for 5-10 mins consultation is ridiculous. Team needs to be realistic in booking appointments. Expecting better & efficient service from the staff

They really need to provide training for the receptionists, so they know how to communicate with the patients. She's not even looking at me and just saying 'no' repeatedly. The message can be conveyed nicely.

Shocking experience. I arrived as a new patient to my pre scheduled appointment to find out they’re running 45 mins late. The lady at the front desk laughed and said “that’s normal for here - you should know that!”.

The place absolutely stinks. Furniture is falling apart and staff are so rude. An all around awful experience to which I cancelled immediately!!

In response to their below reply - it appears my phone is switched off because they STILL have the wrong number on file despite me asking for it to be updated and providing them with the my correct phone number. Looks like their admin is lacking too.

Big thank you to the lovely Nurse Bina for staying back on her own time even after clocking off to fit me in!

Been back a few times now and it's always a pleasure to see that I'm in such caring hands.

Very skilled, friendly, professional and quick. You won't even feel the needle at all!

I'm writing to provide feedback on a recent experience I had at your clinic, in the hopes that it can help improve processes for future cases, especially when it comes to pediatric care.

Recently, I took my daughter to see the doctor for persistent tummy pain. After the consultation, the doctor recommended an ultrasound. We promptly had the ultrasound done, and the sonographer informed us that the results would be available in about 30 minutes. However, when I called the medical practice after an hour to obtain the results, I was told that I needed to book another appointment, and unfortunately, there were no slots available until the following day.

Despite explaining that we only needed the results, the receptionist did not relay this to the doctor, and I had to schedule a phone appointment for 12:30 pm the next day. That morning, I asked my wife to contact the doctor because our daughter was still in a lot of pain. The reception assured us that the doctor would call, but the call only came through at 3:15 pm. Unfortunately, at that time, my wife was busy trying to comfort our daughter due to the severe pain she was experiencing.

When my wife called the doctor back around 4:30 pm, we were finally informed that our daughter needed antibiotics. If we had been able to get the results and prescription the previous day, our daughter wouldn’t have had to endure such pain for an additional day.

I understand that processes are in place for a reason, but I believe that when it comes to children, especially those who are unable to clearly communicate their symptoms, there should be a greater sense of urgency. In cases like this, it would likely take only a few minutes for the doctor to review the ultrasound results and issue a prescription. This small adjustment could make a significant difference in a child’s well-being and prevent unnecessary suffering.

I hope you can consider this feedback and possibly implement a process where pediatric cases with clear diagnostic results are prioritized for immediate review. This would ensure that children receive timely care, especially when they are in pain and traditional over-the-counter medications like Panadol or Nurofen are not effective.

Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I appreciate the care your team provides and hope this can help improve the process for future cases.
